Worst: 4-way tie between Nickelback, Fallout Boy, Hannah Montana, and any rap artist that makes songs devoted entirely to getting people to do some kind of dance move.

Best: 4-way tie between My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, Manitoba (aka Caribou), and Cat Power.

Anyway, in my opinion the worst band ever would have to be Nickelback, mostly because they made it big.

For the greatest band ever I'd have to say Between the Buried and Me, just because they're fucking amazing.

But Between The Buried And Me IS awesome, and are even better live (in my opinion).

Have you heard the lead singer's electronic side-project, Giles? It's really fun, in a campy sort of way. I've heard it described as: "what you get when you combine Inspector Gadget beats with the energy from the Dance Revolution game".

And to boot there's a hilarious video on youtube of some kid dancing in a very awkward way to one of the songs.

Lol, I was seriously about to put the same thing, but add in Jonas Brothers. (you know they tried to compare themselves to The Beatles)

My best would be: The Black Keys, Metric, Radiohead, Sonic Youth, The White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Portishead. and maybe some sabbath or zeppelin (gotta add the classics)

I can't really pick one, there's just too many.

I kid you not, I almost added Jonas Brothers to my worst list, but reckoned that Hannah Montana is even worse. To have compared themselves to The Beatles is blasphemous.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs should've made my list as well, if for nothing else than the fact that they make incredible music for being a three-piece, and Karen O's voice is too freaking sexy to be true. "Art Star" is my anthem. And "Machine" is one of my favorite songs of all-time.

I also should've added Radiohead, The Flaming Lips, Andrew Bird's Bowl Of Fire and many other things...

I agree with Hannah Montana as being one of the worst (or maybe THE worst).

Well, I haven't actually heard any band that I really hate because I tend to avoid them But Hannah Montana sounds just about right haha.

Anyway, as for the greatest band ever, I would go with Guns N' Roses. I'm talking about the old times of course, not the new "edition" of the band

Yeah, one of his songs was on a Victory sampler I got a loooooooooooooooong time ago, never picked up the album though.

Greatest? The Beatles. Duh.

I think we are musical soulmates. Andrew Bird is also amazing. My personal favorite song by him is Scythian Empire. And yeah Karen O's voice is seriously flawless. You should check out The Black Keys. You wouldn't believe they were a two piece just from hearing their music.

I also got to see The Flaming Lips live a couple years back. One of the craziest performances I've seen, but also one of the best shows I've ever been to.
