The Illustrious poog!

Step right up! Come one come all and see the amazing poog tell fortunes for the price of nil! This mysterious mastermind will unravel the future for you before your very eyes! Don't let this once in a lifetime opportunity pass you by!

"A simple fortune madam, im in quite a hurry and need to be at the workplace within the hour." no-name spouts, with a black suit and grey pants, no-name sits and awaits his fortune.

poog looks slyly at the stranger from below his weighty turban.

"I can see that you are indeed in a rush, as I am not a madam," he grinned crookedly, "but one mustn't be so impatient, for horrible things happen when one runs through life."

"You came here for a fortune, and I shall give you one."

"A man waits for you behind a large mahogany desk. He is utterly frustrated, and it seems he is frustrated with you. When you meet this man, he will say a word or two to you, and you will leave."

"If one wishes to keep one's life in balance, one would be wise to buy this man a cup of coffee."

poog wistfully glanced at his crystal ball. A slight glow seemed to emit from it as he twisted his beard between his fingers.

"Do not be late, but do not hurry."

No-name gets up and turns away, thanking Poog.
As no-name exits in puzzlement with his fortune another man pushes his way through the multicolored beads draping down from the doorway.
"Hello sir. I come to you in need of a fortune." whispers Eel, quite hesitantly, "you see, a . . . company is pursuing me. I'm trying to get away from them, but . . . around every corner, I see one of their agents . . . in a black suit. Please, i must know what they are after me for, what will happen to me?" Eel places a coin on the table and slides it towards the crystal ball.

poog pushes the coin away.

"My fortunes are free for those that wish to hear them."

He turns away from Eel and reaches towards a musty chest at his side. He opens the lid with a creak and takes out a piece of paper and a pencil.

"I shall draw for you an image from my mind's eye."

poog slowly closed his eyes, and his head tilted skyward.

His hand slowly wormed back and forth across the blank sheet sketching something, but Eel could not see as the tent was very dark.

poog opened his eyes, and his hand rested on the table. He slid the paper across the table towards Eel, and sat back to rest.

Eel wasn't sure what to expect. Laden with anxiety, he glanced to see what was there on the paper.



poog spoke at a whisper, "Interpret it as you will, for there is hidden meaning behind all of it."

A smile played upon his face, "Or I could be a crazy, old fool scribbling doodles and giving them away calling them fortunes."

"Trust no one."
