Thread: Poe's Law

Upon recent discovery of this term I decided to make a challenge to everyone to go out into the internet on subjects and purposely create something for us to be duped into the truth of Poe's Law. Once you have done so you post a quote of yourself here and then a link to the page so we can wait and see who thinks you're being honest.

Some of you may have seen my recent post about my discovery, meanwhile no one divulge what Poe's Law is on here please, I want people to laugh quietly to themselves like I did when they look it up.

Sandform, I just had a major blast trying this trick. Poe's Law is very much a reality, and it goes way further than I thought. Check out this dialogue I had on You Tube under an Edward Current video, which interestingly is satirical by the way. Poe's Law applied to everybody who responded, on both sides. I am Thimoneus.

What atheists need to understand is that the existence of something proves that somebody consciously created it. Have you ever heard of a coke can? You also can't tell me how a fish can give birth to a human. Oh, excuse me... how an amoeba can give birth to a human. The Bible, on the other hand, has been proven. Who wants to argue that Bethlehem and Jerusalem don't exist? You can't argue with what the Bible says. But I guess planets can just form out of thin air. Duh, okay.

please attempt to learn something before you display your ignorance. the only thing about the bible that has been proven is that it is complete nonsense, written by ignorant bronze age misogynists who didnt have the slightest inkling as to how the natural world works. all they had to explain it were myths and boogeymen. after you grow a brain, you too may be able to distinguish fact from fantasy, until then, have fun in fantasy land.

lol, another willfull display of ignorance. im not the one who needs to proove anything, medina exists on the map, does that prove islam is the one true religion? your creation "theory" is the one that says the planets were puffed into existance out of thin air, lol. the planets took billions of years to form. 6 days is alot more like puffed than 14 billion years.

The difference is that Islam is not the true word of The Lord Jesus Christ. Christians, the only real children of our Lord (Praise his holy name! Amen!), believe/know that the planets did not come out of thin air. They were created by God. But you think things don't have to have a cause. Your belief requires about a trillion times more faith than mine.

Atheists are mean ppl =[ every atheist I know is mean to me and aren't modest and brag about stuff, and believe in no hope in life because no-one with great power will help them, then they'll have children that will probably be emo. I even added in things that are seemingly OBVIOUS (the ending oh yeah) to make sure it could not be misrepresented as a non parody, but we shall see. I am going to respond to one of the responders to see if I can actually make them think it is true while still being obvious parody in hindsight.

BTW there is no such thing as Genesis 3:25 hehe.

Similar to Murphy's Law, Poe's Law concerns internet debates, particularly regarding religion or politics.

In other words, No matter how bizzare, outrageous, or just plain idiotic a parody of a Fundamentalist may seem, there will always be someone who cannot tell that it is a parody, having seen similar REAL ideas from real religious/political Fundamentalists.
