It's okay, Man Man. I used to shun them (and still hate the show), but once my good friends convinced me to try Pokemon Red, everything became clear to me...

I play Pokemon Pearl on the DS. It's great. The shows suck though.

What?! You have Pokémon Pearl? I though that hadn't been released yet... Anyway back on topic, simultaeneously the best and worst part of Pokémon has to be when that pokeball is rolling around on the floor.

It must suck to be Ash though, I mean, He gets close to his goal of catching them all and then they add another 150 pokemon!

But it also means you get the chance to add 150 more pokemon to your any, making you truly unstoppable.

I cant decide if I want pokemon diamond or pearl. Whats the difference b/w the two?

It was released the 27th of July in Europe, and in November or something in the USA/Canada/etc. So I imported it right before I went on a three week vacation I love playing them on holidays.

Same as Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, Ruby/Sapphire, etc; There's like 8 Pokemon, and a legendary, that can't be caught in the other. I'd say Diamond is more popular.

Has it got internet capabilities? If Diamond is more popular go for Pearl, more people will trade with you.

I find it upsetting that you cant steal other peoples pokemon... yes i know "ahh you horrible person!" but seriously, if you cant find anyone to trade with, and someone just HAPPENS to have a charizard or something on the game, you should just be able to take it and hide or something. or kill them. like, pokemon hit men. Hitmanchan (sp?) or whatever. . The Battle Feild or whatever, that little island is just crawling with pokemon from different games and im not going to buy them all or go find someone to trade me. Mostly because my friends think im insane, and no one i know plays it except me.

I didn't understand half of that.

But if you want, we could exchange friend codes later on and I could hook you up with some Pokemans.

I think Pokemon has made its way up to about 600 something now :p

Anyways, just get both DDK. And when you need a pokemon that isn't on the other game, then trade thorough the GTS. (Global Trading System)

I'm still hedging my bets on Hengband being a better "minimalist RPG" than Pokemon. I mean, come on
