I dunno...I don't think so. Being the photoshop noob that I am, I think I deleted the top layer of color, but just ended up with the background color after that...technically not, I guess.

well if you're getting a grid kind of background look, it is transparent. but saving it as such is the trick.

Cool anime. The edges are a bit pixelated, though... anyways, my experience with transparent avatars.. I tried it with mine, but the transparent just showed up as white on the forum. The sig had no problem getting transparent. So I had to color pick the color here and fill in the right color for the avatar. So it looks transparent, but isn't.

yea, in another thread there was a pretty big argument between people thinking that looking transparent, whether it is or not, is ok and those who thought that there was no excuse for not really having transparency

It's fun to rotate avatars. You don't have to ditch Calvin and Hobbs altogether, but you could still change up the images once in a while. We'll still know who you are.
