If it was truly transparent, it would have transitioned perfectly to the new style. Since it did not, it is not transparent, by definition.

well as far as I know most software doesn't save (or at least the site doesn't upload them as) truly transparent formats. I know mine doesn't.

Also, any image editing software worth a damn allows you to save as a GIF with transparency. Just sayin'.

It's probably just the guy being short, but the woman seems really tall.

I am astounded by the lack of culture in here. Dreamsun's avatar is from Battlestar Galactica. Likely the Miniseries, but they went back to that scene so many times during the actual series it's hard to tell. Unless, I'm completely mistaken, and that's from the final episode. If that's the case, then it has a significant amount of meaning.

I hate the skipping too, I tried to fix it in GIMP, but the issue is more complicated than it looks, and when I tried to fix it it just got all screwed up.

I redid mine slightly in PS yesterday. Played around with the colours, removed all the icky artefacts it had, made it a bit more arty.
