4(:)20 is something that originated from a pretty long while ago but it is now basically slang for weed/smoking weed.

Okay, so that gives you two cool points in my book.
Maybe you're not such an asshole.
Every pothead is supposed to smoke every day at 4:20 and all day on April 20. It is very much considered to be a real holiday. How can it not be a holiday if over hundreds of thousands of people celebrate it?
When we used to get off of work, we would get to the car, and start driving back, light up a bowl, and more times than not it was 4:20. We got off work at 4:00 every day. I think this is a natural time to get high if you live a normal schedule from 8-4.
And for those of you who are against drugs...
...I don't mean those that don't do drugs...
...But those of you who look down your nose at them
