Supernatural stuff. This just reminded me of this very scary experience I had one night. It was late, and I was talking to somebody on IM. At the corner of my eye was a lurking black thing. I turned round and- holy crap- it was something resembling the grim reaper.

It was pretty damn scary.

I stared at it, scared for a moment or two. It was just sat that, totally oblivous to my presence. I went out in the corridor to get away from it and there were more, except these ones knew I was there. They floated up really freakily and started coming after me. This was as real as waking day for me, and it was damned scary.

So, the only choice I had was to kick their supernatural ass. Not that I'm very good at that. So I ran around kicking, punching, shouting...etc...

They then stopped. I was reassured that absolutely bugger all had been there all the time. I swear, I saw them though. Perhaps I had entered some kind of hallucination? I know it can't of been a fancy false awakening because I talked to my friend on IM when the first Grim Rep. thing appeared, and confirmed with her the next day about what I said.
