- First day at school.
+ English lesson really rocked, our new English teacher is too awesome.
+ At one point she was like "Yeah you will probably get a lot of homework this semester for English, but if you have too many stress you can of course just go watch some TV and relax or smoke weed like some of you do".. And then she looked at me and my friends' direction. The funny thing is, all the stoners were in our corner. And we didn't even know her, haha. It was funny.

under the tile around the toilet.
Some arse didn't install the toilet properly and it's been leaking water around it under the tile and through the floor into the basement for god knows how long. We're gonna have to replace the whole damned floor! :pissed:

A bumblebee would probably be a better pet.
Barticus was just a bee (well, hornet) that happened to fly into our window, so we grapped a clear plastic cup, taped it over Barticus, and left him there. He's still alive, and its day two--I'm already surprised.

I hate hornets but I kinda feel sorry for the bugger

you should catch a cricket or some other bug and put it under the cup with Barticus and see what happens :P

Yeah, Nicole tried to feed it turkey, but we all told her it wouldn't eat it. We might go catch it something just to see if it hunts/eats it, but it'll probably be dead before we can. They only live 12 days or so, and it's probably already a few days old, so...

nation-wide exam moderation standards & techniques change year on year
it's not uncommon for borderline grades to be bumped up

your mark itself is unlikely to change, unless the marker has made a mistake, possible, not likely though - it's how they translate your actual mark into a grade (A-G) that can change, as this is governed by a small percentage of randomly selected papers sent for external moderation.

it does cost money
some schools pay for you (it's in their interest)
some schools won't

closing date for re-marking gcse's is 20th of September 2006
talk to your teacher about it
