I know what you mean. A friend of mine drank like a bunch of that stuff and went mental. He like went into sugar shock and then tried to eat the can he was drinking from.

red bull is bad. i drank it before boxing one day... i puked my brains out. i never touched the stuff after that. it wasn't all that tastey anyway.

You might wanna stop drinking any sort of energy drink, cuz they all got bad stuff in it.

And it doesnt make you hallucinate, unless you're a goddamn moron.

Anything with too much of something is bad for you.

(BTW: Red Bull is not "addictive" perse, You can just have withdrawls if you don't drink it in a steady fashon. Say I've never tried it before, and then I decided to drink five in one hour. That would screw you up.)

(Another BTW: If you drink enough at one time, you can get a heart attack from it, same with bawls.)

I'm serious.. probably more than 3 though too. I just only know of three personally.

From (the lack of) what I understand, taurine is an amino acid produced mainly by cats. Too many Red Bulls at once can give you a heart attack, or kidney failure. Only three people have died, two of which mixed it with vodka. Taurine gives cats their natrual speed and agility. That is also why many cats in their old age die of kindey failure.

The message? Don't be an drunken idiot and mix Red Bull with proof vodka. Or anything else with vodka for that matter.

ya...im totally addicted to it...i drink about 5 a day, and thats jus to stay normal...i really need to stop drinking it, but everytime i try i just get really really sleepy, and dont want to do anything but sleep...i slept for about 2 weeks straight, only taking breaks to wake up and move somewhere else (like from class to class, or back home)...really sucks

...i remember me an my friend had a red bull drinking contest...kinda like binge drinking...only with red bull...he drank 5 i drank 6 and a half, but then he puked everywhere so i totally won...jus thought you all might get a laugh at our expense (or not..)

Today I had a shot of pure cinnamin extract (without knowing what it was). Oh man, it made my mouth numb.

So, back to energy drinks:

I was going to do an experiment to see if red bull lowered your blood sugar enough to be a serious threat to a diabetic. The two places I checked were sold out of red bull, so I bought some Amp energy drink instead.

Amp energy drink has guarana, ginseng, taurine, caffine, 30g's of sugar, and orange juice.

Ginseng: There is a syndrome called ginseng abuse sydrome where your muscles can become so tense you can't urinate. Ginsing is supposed to be a mild stimulant.

Guarana: Guarana is just cocoa with a whole lotta caffine. It may cause painful urination, restlessness, tremor, vomiting, irregular heartbeats, and abdominal spasms. It is used as a stimulant and appitite supprecent.

The first observations of Amp: It tastes like shit. It also gave me a stomach ache. About twenty five minutes in I can feel the positive effects. Quite honestly, it works damn well as a energy drink. My heart rate is about 80 to 100 bpm.

And I've just discovered I really don't care.

I couldn't bleed enough to get a good blood sample

red bull works wonders if you're using it to stay up or to be more alert etc. but thats not the problem lol

I like Amp. It's better than Red Bull to me.
