I brough that amazing dream game over from a dream site that Life-banned me. A link to that dream game is in post #1. I bought a change of username to encourage folk to "havago" at mine and WakingNomad's dream games. Then my 86 year old dream-friend had a catastrophic stroke and died on 29 of January, this year. He lived 12,000 miles away but, starting in 2008, he rang me on my mobile phone then taught me how to Skype. He mentored me about mutual dreaming (and much more). Because, he was my only mentor, I thought shared dreaming and the corresponding waking-life synchronicities were a normal and commonplace experiences for all 2008+ dreamers, worldwide. Me, taking for granted, that all us dreamers always psidreamed, all the time, because we share ONE soul ... well ... that got me in trouble with ... trolls ... When Robert Van De Castle died I began to understand that he was unique. The powerful and straight forward mutual dreaming, followed, the next day by, phenomenological off-the-scale waking life synchronicities were happening because ... this was normal to the Grandfather of psiDreaming, Dr Robert Van De Castle. He helped me build the portal, the mandala, my avata, off the South Australian Coast. It is a powerful piece of dream technology. It links the dreamer with the ... Single .... We don't have words or concepts in the 2014 lexicon. BobV wrote the great text book on dreaming, Our Dreaming Mind . I am EbbTide000 because without BobV I feel I will ebb away from the dream Community.

Ah I see, your username have some real substance and depth to it. I like that part! Im sorry for your loss of Bob though.. Even if Im usually dont take a closer look at everything around here in general. I do like your open-minded posts that I stumble up on around this forum. And that is what most often catch my interest. And I hope you dont give to much of your energy away to people who want to troll on your open-minded ideas. As a side note about my recently trolling in Frank's thread though. I felt like giving him what I noticed that he wanted to have (approval and admiration of his ideas). To see if he would break out of the habbit of self-glorifying he's ideas without the like to discuss them with people. I really dont think that Frank himself are trolling about what he is talking about. But it seems like he dont get, that he have to discuss questions with people to make his ideas clear to others. How ever, to break other peoples habbits might not be any of my business. But I was just too curious to see how he would take that. When he finally got what he wanted.. (glory). I hope he starts to open up a bit for people now who stil woundering about his ideas that he post, and clearly wants other to understand. Trolling can be a great and usefull tool. But trolling is probably more often used BY tools, than as a tool itself. -TrollBear

some trolls can be quite clever and humorous. i can appreciate those. the stupid trolls are the ones that go around bashing people and make themselves look stupid. the smart ones are the ones that get people to bash each other making everyone else look foolish.

I would say that VeghEsther from GameFaqs is one of the more skilled trolls I have seen on the Internet. He has been a GameFaqs member for a decade and terrorizes pretty much every RPG forum (particularly the Final Fantasy forums) by repeatedly mentioning his own broken strategies as the only ways to beat a certain boss, effectively discouraging newbies from even finishing the game, and he has never been permanently banned just because the moderators think "he doesn't actually break any rules". Still, most people frequently get very mad at him, and it's incredibly comical to watch. His posts almost always follow this formula: "Well I could never beat Event X like that, so I had to use Broken Strategy Y and get the best weapons ASAP even on The Lowest Difficulty. Yes I will always abuse any cheap tricks in any RPG I play." The thing that's so amazing about his posts is that they are actually helpful in some way, because although his advice are usually extremely tedious and unneccesarily complicated, they would solve most problems in a given RPG. A typical "Vegh-advice" would be to use the Lete River leveling trick in Final Fantasy 6 (setting the characters on AutoCrossBow, Fight, Fight and Health) with a turbo controller and then having the characters circle a part of the river over and over to get to Level 99 and making the characters become extremely overpowered without needing to do a damn thing other than keep the game on and wait for a few days. This is definitely not necessary, but it will obviously make the rest of the game very easy no matter how bad the player it at the game.

Fine, I'll bite. No one plays because they find other things more exciting and/or straightforward. Your presentation is lacking, a bit scattered, and inaccessible to most. Clean it up. Keep it succinct. Leave out the transcripts. And then maybe you'll see things pick up. You also have to keep in mind the folks who frequent BD--and would be inclined to play along--don't necessarily share your sense of dedication and single-minded determination. Which is a good contributor to why the retention rate for these sorts of things is sitting at a solid 0%. Not being mean. Just realistic.

And I thought about it, and I believe you think what you see as successes should convince people who take it on face value to invest energies in trying. I like it that you are honest, and taking it seriously, but to find "followers" - the "effects" might not sound convincing enough.
