I was telling you the background sample looked really bad. How is that negative? I was being honest.

Maybe it's not what you say, but how you say it.

Exactly, i can take criticism, that is no problem. But when you say it as you did, it definitely came off as negative. You could say something along the lines of "Maybe you should try to find a better resolution picture of the clouds. To me they look a little off and dont go with the picture." Dont just say"That looks really bad."

But that would be dishonest. Sampling high resolution pictures is trivial and any person attempting to do graphic design should know that. It's a critical mistake that should not be taken lightly. That's why I was being so 'negative'.
