I guess it is a lot more socially acceptable to be a sex fiend in the US than other places.

STD's aren't stopping me. I love sex...but I haven't had it in a while due to the fact that I'm so damn picky. Maybe if there wasn't any STD's and I had 0 chances to get someone pregnant....but still. I'm a freaking sex fiend already. I'm not sure if my sexual cravings will go up. It'll probably only effect my actions.

No, most defenatly. It is not STDs and similar preventing me from having it, I simply believe it should be connected to one person your entire life if possible, which is how I lived, am living and always will,regardless of the fact if there are diseases or not.

I would wait until a good quantity of the human race had converted to a lifestyle of rampant fiendish sex and then I would create an STD and hold the world to ransom, saying I either got a handsome sum of whatever the hell is considered influential in this fictional time period or the world would have to suffer withdrawal symptoms from sex addiction. Just saying.
