Hey all. I saw your adoption program thing and don't know if that's what I want to look for or not? Is there already a program or experiment dedicated to a group or couple effort at shared or psychic dreams? I'm very interested and already know that it's possible from experience. I think (believe) that it works best if there is some sort of psychic connect that pre-exists. I don't know if this assumption is true or not but the only shared dream that I have had was with my mother and I have only been very successful with psychic dreaming with one person (but it was someone who I only know from the internet). Anyway, I would be interested if anyone wants to experiment with this. I've done some different things in the past like trying to pull the other person into a lucid dream (which still seems interesting and I would still be interested in trying that) but I have seen more results from affirming prior to going to sleep that the dreamers will connect. What I've seen is psychic dreams giving info about the other person. But it wasn't as if we were always or usually connecting at the same time or on the same nights. Any takers? |

WakingNomad's a drug addicted hallucinator, and yes he's good at shared dreaming (has a lot of experience with it, I mean) but if you talk to him too much he'll start rambling about gods and demons and psychic energy tracing past hairstyles and all sorts of other shit... |

I'd probably say WakingNomad is a more intense person to talk too. Like mentioned the above post, you'll get a lot more than just shared dreaming popping up in discussion. |
|
He's more intense, but don't believe anything he says, or at least take a grain of salt with it, when he starts rambling and starts going waaay further than the original topic. |

Do you have good recall? I used to... but mine has been pretty crappy lately. One night I will remember plenty, then the next night I won't remember anything. |

Hey... maybe you were there. And seeing it from a different angle can make the layout appear different. And it is also really hard to find a photo that looks exactly like the pond does in dreams. |

I want to try this with my friend, the shared dream thing... We share the same birthday, and while Im not too sure how much I believe about psychic stuff, often I will be thinking something that he will say out loud, or vise versa. It would be interesting to see if we could share a dream. Idk if hed be up for it tho... |

Hi. Thanks for the reply. My dream recall could use some improvement. My busy life has cut into it considerably. Also, Nomad mentioned the moon which I am already very drawn to but some night I may visit your place if I get my practice up. Will keep in contact. |

Hi there, if you're interested in shared/psychic dreaming you should look into the Deep Dreaming forum. You need to request access to the forum, but it's a place where people can discuss such things without having to worry about being made to feel an idiot, unlike Beyond Dreaming. |
|
Oh, was I supposed to feel an idiot? lol |
|
No not at all. It's just that, often times...when people post about certain things in Beyond Dreaming forum they get a lot of crap from skeptics...which is why the Deep Dreaming forum was created. So you can find a lot more info about these things in Deep Dreaming and Beyond Dreaming more so than Research I think. |

You're like a little boy chasing the girl he has a crush on. I know I am sexy and all, but must you pop your cute little head in to every thread I start, and every thread where someone mentions me? Do you just enter my username into the search engine when you first log on every day? |

"I tried one of the psychoactive plants containing the entities referred to as "allies" in Carlos Castaneda's books. I think that the one I sampled was devil's weed (Datura) although I cannot be sure." |

I remember some local kids were killed a couple years back from drinking Datura tea after reading Carlos Castaneda (I love those books btw). I trust my experiences more if I don't "enhance" them with substances. Now, vitamins are a different story. I mean, if we are healthy then our sleep is healthier and we know that our bodies need specific vitamins for specific functions. We don't depend on vitamins as some sort of crutch... our body NEEDS them... TRULY depends upon them for health. |

WakingNomad...that's not really appropriate. And WakataDreamer, don't talk crap about other members like that to the newbies. Jeez guys, this is really childish stuff, come on. Consider both of yourselves warned. |

Um... I also believe that the dream realm is a separate plane of existence. I travel to parallel worlds in my dreams filled with people and places most people in this world will never see, even WITH the aid of mind altering drugs. Oh, and I have never once done an illegal drug of any kind. No hallucinogens, no uppers, no pot, no crack, no nothing. The hardest 'drug' I've ever done is melatonin before bed for intense dreams, and it only sort of works. Works better as a sleep aid than for intensifying dreams. |

Well, there are some pretty genius quantum physicists who believe in parallel dimensions so you're alright |
