Thread: Roll Signal Success Research

I am doing some research based on Nick Newport's Lucidology & the roll signal. This question is meant to uncover how individuals have use the roll signal successfully. Nick says to ingore the roll signal sometimes but when talking about his Stop, Drop & Roll technique he says when you feel the roll signal come on slowly roll.

Here's my questions.

Do you not move at all when you feel the roll signal and enter sleep paralysis?

or do you slowly roll in response to the roll signal and enter sleep paralysis?

Any comments or suggestions?

I actually watched his videos. I'm not a big fan of nick though, won't lie. His way of getting into a OBE is really boring and makes you think to much. I suggest trying the VILD technique, it gives you a OBE sleep paralysis and it's more fun. Also nick says to not scratch itchyness on your body while you are falling asleep because it's just your body testing your mind to see if it's still awake. When I am in OBE because of the VILD I just scratch my itch in my OBE and it sometimes transfers to my real body and the itch stops. have fun with this, it's awesome.

I stay dead still while I'm still in control of my body. But, after I wake up, my body has rolled onto it's side without my knowing it.

(Would you rather I move this to the research section? There you may have people willing to actually do tests on which is more effective.)
