CIWILD - LD in 30 seconds

CIWILD - Cigarette Initiated Wake Initiated Lucid Dreams

Just though i'd share a technique which works the best for me, here it goes:
1.) Stay 3hrs late after the time you usually go to sleep (e.g. if you usually go to sleep on 11 PM go 2 PM.
2.) Smoke a cigarette on your window with some nice music, Winston lite works best for me, then go straight to sleep.
3.) Use any other WILD guides from here i'd recommend using a sound to help you LD (http://rapidshare.com/files/130791148/Lucid-dreams.mp3 works the best for me)
4.) You should get a WILD within 1 minute.
It's probably not something that worth considering to start smoking, but if you already smoke why not have LD's with it? *Goes crazy on this method*

Need some people to test if this method works.

hmmmm....possibly the effects of the nicotine? i know i get nice vibrations when i smoke and just sit and close my eyes.

The evening hangs beneath the moon, a silver thread on darkened dune.
With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.

Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
A thousand pictures fill my head,

      I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
and yet my limbs seems made of lead.

interesting theory. I suppose you could take away the smoking part and replace it with somethig similar, and keep the go to bed 3 hours later and sound to have an LD

Not really, this is the fastest method ever to LD, you enter SP as soon as you lay down on your bed!

This definately sounds possible, I do not smoke but occasionally I will. Numerous times I have noticed the sensation of SP onset after smoking. Nicotine is a stimulant which is probably why you should go to bed much later to prevent you from not being able to sleep. Next time I get my hands on a cig (and when there is no school) I will definately try this technique and report back.

      Thanx for this idea

Depending on how much you smoke during the day, Tobacco causes what we used to call in school "head spins". It feels very similar to SP, very very similar. Now I'm not one to like to take away someone's placebo effect, but I've found it's better because then we can find what REALLY works. Basically I think you just THINK that you're having SP but it's really just "head spins" which everyone gets from smoking Tobacco if they aren't regular smokers.

These head spins can consume your whole body if you focus on them, I remember when I started smoking and I went down the street to this grassy field with long long grass and I smoked the entire 16mg nicotine cigarette for the first time. I got massive numbness all over my body and I just fell back into the grass and was 'floating'. Just tingly numbness everywhere.

(god, now I remember why I started smoking! haha. It was so good)

I believe this is because Tobacco is a stimulant, plus it slows down your circulation. Which is why it feels very similar to cutting of the circulation to a leg or something when you're sitting down for too long. Except all over your body. If you are focusing on this though, it would be like a meditation, which in itself, as SKA said could help to LD.

I would suggest trying to prolong this feeling when you smoke, eventually you will be able to get it without smoking at all, if you want to.

Also, although this is not really known widely, Tobacco contains Muscarine, which is also in those Amanita Muscaria mushrooms (red and white spotted ones from fairy tales), which have been documented to induce LD's. So maybe that's what's doing it?
Maybe Winston Light's contain more Muscarine for some reason?

So you're not smoking because it illegal?
Jeez, would have thought the whole lung cancer and stroke thing would weigh in to the equation a whole lot more.

it's been long known that if you sleep with nicotine patch on you get crazy vivid wild dreams... a lot of people report having dark sinister / suicidal dreams, which is why you aren't supposed to do it.

so try sleeping with a nicotine patch on

Actuly, I use almost the same method.

I usually smoke before going to bed, because it makes you a bit more relaxed and you can go to sleep faster. And you mentioned sound, I use The_Ultimate_Lucid_Induction.mp3 and it's 12min. long, by the end of it i'm in SP. The music also helps you to concentrate.

But since i'm yet a noob I haven't got past the SP. I haven't also tried WBTB yet.

nicotine is listed as a lucid dream supplement in the advanced lucid dream book.
i don't know if i have all the details right, but apparently, there are two types of receptors that help us have lucid dreams: cholinergic and nicotinorgic.

which is why people use dmae and agpc... for the choline, and nicotine patches for the nicotine.

peoples' varying results might have to do with how much nicotine you are used to getting?

i tried puffing on a cigar once before going to bed and i thought my dreams were more vivid. can't remember if i went lucid but i would try again. of course i am not a smoker.
      so all this may matter.
