CIWILD - LD in 30 seconds

CIWILD - Cigarette Initiated Wake Initiated Lucid Dreams

Just though i'd share a technique which works the best for me, here it goes:
1.) Stay 3hrs late after the time you usually go to sleep (e.g. if you usually go to sleep on 11 PM go 2 PM.
2.) Smoke a cigarette on your window with some nice music, Winston lite works best for me, then go straight to sleep.
3.) Use any other WILD guides from here i'd recommend using a sound to help you LD (http://rapidshare.com/files/130791148/Lucid-dreams.mp3 works the best for me)
4.) You should get a WILD within 1 minute.
It's probably not something that worth considering to start smoking, but if you already smoke why not have LD's with it? *Goes crazy on this method*

Need some people to test if this method works.

hmmmm....possibly the effects of the nicotine? i know i get nice vibrations when i smoke and just sit and close my eyes.

The evening hangs beneath the moon, a silver thread on darkened dune.
With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.

Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
A thousand pictures fill my head,

      I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
and yet my limbs seems made of lead.

interesting theory. I suppose you could take away the smoking part and replace it with somethig similar, and keep the go to bed 3 hours later and sound to have an LD

Not really, this is the fastest method ever to LD, you enter SP as soon as you lay down on your bed!

How many times have you tried this? And how many times have you succeeded in getting into SP?

seems interesting, but everyone is different as a person. i smoke cigs (marlboro menthol lights) and i usually stay up late to begin with, so i might have to give it a shot

      Why not answer yellowlight's question?

This seems like a very powerful method. Too bad I have no idea what your success rate is and that you are the only one having reported using this method. Your signature says you have only had 4 quality WILDs. If it were as powerful as you claim it to be, how come you've only had 4 quality WILDs? Months have passed since you've started this thread.

I'm not a smoker, so I won't test this, but perhaps I can replace the cigarettes with something else. Hopefully it isn't just you being lucky. If nicotine plays a major role in this, can it be replaced with caffeine?

It might be the nicotine, it might be not. In any case, I'd love it if you reported when you tried and when you succeeded.

For the sake of science, I'll be trying the same method, but with a placebo instead of a cigarette. I'll post any results.

Why don't you just try the Fatty Cock Initiated Lucid Dream?
      1. You get a guy with a huge penis to sleep in your bed with you.
      2. You go to sleep.
      3. You wake up and deep throat this guys huge cock until he blows his wadd.
      4. You go back to sleep

Works every time! You should be having Lucids up the yin yang!!! This technique is proven by the BEST to work! Give 'er a go!!!

On a serious note, what will you crazy kids come up with next? Hahaha.

      Lol try

Lol, I meant REAL super high detailed lucid dreams that make your brain hurt from all the detail in my signature that's when you try to plug your nose and cannot breath in a DREAM. Not just a regular medium detail level dream.

It has a success rate of like 95%. BTW I have noticed it is a lot more effective when i don't eat before i try this method, as my stomach is empty i can get more high of a cigarette. (I usually don't eat in the middle of the night)

I never have such effects from cigarettes. And I do quite often smoke right before I go to sleep.

Maybe Tobacco has a unique effect on you. Or maybe the LD-succes has to do with something else that happens when you smoke a cigarette with some music on. Maybe you go into a nice relaxed, clearminded state just because you "STOP" to smoke a cigarette. Because of the "STOP" rather than the cigarette you smoke in that "Stop". Maybe you falsely credit the Cigarette for this effect.

Maybe meditate trying to not actively participate in thoughts and feelings, but instead passively observe them while staying idle: If it works just as well as your cigarette technique then it indeed has to do with the "STOP"-passive observatory state of mind.

No offence But I don't really think it's a good idea to provide a reason to people to keep on smoking :p

Probably it's the nicotine that makes you relax faster than normally?
Would it work if you bought nicotine patches from the drug store and applied them before going to bed? Hahah, this is idea is quite farfetched xD

      And... in this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...58#post1156858
They claim that cigarettes cause imsomnia, maybe that's a good thing if you wanna keep the mind awake?

This definately sounds possible, I do not smoke but occasionally I will. Numerous times I have noticed the sensation of SP onset after smoking. Nicotine is a stimulant which is probably why you should go to bed much later to prevent you from not being able to sleep. Next time I get my hands on a cig (and when there is no school) I will definately try this technique and report back.

      Thanx for this idea

Depending on how much you smoke during the day, Tobacco causes what we used to call in school "head spins". It feels very similar to SP, very very similar. Now I'm not one to like to take away someone's placebo effect, but I've found it's better because then we can find what REALLY works. Basically I think you just THINK that you're having SP but it's really just "head spins" which everyone gets from smoking Tobacco if they aren't regular smokers.

These head spins can consume your whole body if you focus on them, I remember when I started smoking and I went down the street to this grassy field with long long grass and I smoked the entire 16mg nicotine cigarette for the first time. I got massive numbness all over my body and I just fell back into the grass and was 'floating'. Just tingly numbness everywhere.

(god, now I remember why I started smoking! haha. It was so good)

I believe this is because Tobacco is a stimulant, plus it slows down your circulation. Which is why it feels very similar to cutting of the circulation to a leg or something when you're sitting down for too long. Except all over your body. If you are focusing on this though, it would be like a meditation, which in itself, as SKA said could help to LD.

I would suggest trying to prolong this feeling when you smoke, eventually you will be able to get it without smoking at all, if you want to.

Also, although this is not really known widely, Tobacco contains Muscarine, which is also in those Amanita Muscaria mushrooms (red and white spotted ones from fairy tales), which have been documented to induce LD's. So maybe that's what's doing it?
Maybe Winston Light's contain more Muscarine for some reason?
