The evening hangs beneath the moon, a silver thread on darkened dune.
With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.
Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
A thousand pictures fill my head,
I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
and yet my limbs seems made of lead. ---Whitacre's Sleep---
I would but I dont smoke! |

AWAKE?
interesting theory. I suppose you could take away the smoking part and replace it with somethig similar, and keep the go to bed 3 hours later and sound to have an LD |

seems interesting, but everyone is different as a person. i smoke cigs (marlboro menthol lights) and i usually stay up late to begin with, so i might have to give it a shot |

LD Count: 300 since 2005, average 40 LDs a yr

It might be the nicotine, it might be not. In any case, I'd love it if you reported when you tried and when you succeeded. |

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.
Why don't you just try the Fatty Cock Initiated Lucid Dream? |
|
Lol try |
|
No success yesterday with the placebo. Gonna keep trying, though. |

Were you absolutely sure you weren't smoking Opium instead? |

Luminous Spacious Dream Masters That Holographically Communicate
among other teachers taught me
not to overestimate the Value of our Concrete Knowledge;"Common sense"/Rationality,
for doing so would make us Blind for the unimaginable, unparalleled Capacity of and Wisdom contained within our Felt Knowledge;Subconscious Intuition.
Yes I'm it wasn't Opium but a Marlboro Light |

No offence |

I don't provide people with ideas so they'll start smoking, but if you already smoke - use it for LDinggggggg |

This definately sounds possible, I do not smoke but occasionally I will. Numerous times I have noticed the sensation of SP onset after smoking. Nicotine is a stimulant which is probably why you should go to bed much later to prevent you from not being able to sleep. Next time I get my hands on a cig (and when there is no school) I will definately try this technique and report back. |

Depending on how much you smoke during the day, Tobacco causes what we used to call in school "head spins". It feels very similar to SP, very very similar. Now I'm not one to like to take away someone's placebo effect, but I've found it's better because then we can find what REALLY works. Basically I think you just THINK that you're having SP but it's really just "head spins" which everyone gets from smoking Tobacco if they aren't regular smokers. |
