Hypocrisy at my Catholic School
I go to a catholic school(but there are a lot of non-catholics there as well) and because it's ash wednesday they decided to not sell meat in the cafeteria. What a load of crap.
Because some people aren't eating meat then the option is not available-it's extremely prejudice but even worse I had to have tuna instead of Chicken on my roll:P
While I was eating with my friends who are a mixture of christians and atheists I was asking what the difference was between eating meat and fish and they seemed to think that they had me beat by saying that fish live in the sea and animals don't(I don't think they got what I was saying) After thinking for a while I said that maybe it had something to do with a fish being the symbol of christianity and they all thought I was going mad and that the only symbol for it was the cross. I ended up going to talk to the most devout christians I know and even they didn't know it.
I can't believe they had the cheek to restrict my diet but don't even know their own symbol.
I can't wait 'til next year, I'm gonna take in a big steak and eat in front of all of them.:P
Obviously I know not all Christians are like that but I just didn't get how that was fair.
