Just going to cite some numbers off wikipedia.
The universe is about
8,678 x 10^23 km wide (that's
867 800 000 000 000 000 000 000 kilometres.) (disclaimer: this number is quite uncertain. The theories about the size of the universe rages from 13,7 billion light-years to 180 billion light-years... but doesn't really matter. There still isn't an adjective strong enough to describe how big it is.)
In this space, there is about
3-7 x 10^22 stars (
30-70 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 / 30-70 sextillion stars), organized in about
80 000 000 000 galaxies.
Someone look at these numbers and tell me chance has nothing to do with it.
