Jehovah's witnesses don't believe in hell. Thank goodness...

What I mean is, if hell is real, then you're either coming into the world in order to be tortured forever, or you're coming into the world in order to watch or know that others are being tortured forever. Both of them are equally hellish and it is useless to suggest that you can possibly be in heaven when a hell exists (which is why I cream my pants when Christians say that there is).

So, it doesn't matter whether your child goes to hell or not, they'll still be in hell! By bringing them into the world you automatically damn them. And the Catholic Church also believes this admittedly, though curiously, they have the most children (my sadist senses are tingling).

So, on these premises, it is inhumane for the majority of Christians to have children.

I used to be a very dedicated christian and consider myself enlightened on the subject of christian doctorine.

God made woman to have sex with man and vice a versa, the purpose of this was to produce children to fill the earth with the human race. Homosexuality does not acomplish this, it just provides pleasure to the men (or women) preforming the act. This is seen as a perversion of god's intention of sex and thus is a sin.

So, we are all discussing Sin but we haven't discussed what SIN means. The Judeo/Christian/Muslim monotheism is the only root religions that has the concept of SIN. And it is the only religion that has the concept of Evil. So by asking WHY is homosexuality a sin means that you are assuming that Evil is real and Sin is real. So what is it? What is SIN? I think that the answer would be disobeying God. It is funny also that this is the only root religion that has a Jealous God as the creator of humans. A God without a Goddess, could he be gay himself? Why has he not married? Why did he send the holy ghost to impregnate Mary with his seed if he could've done it himself?

I think that JHVH (Jehovah) may be in the closet. He needs to come out.

But seriously, what is SIN?

there are some who've suggested that Jesus had a homosexual relationship with John.

as far as sin, I've always thought that it was any action or thought against god, rather than a specific outline or set of rules. it is more flexible than the latter, I think.

and it does say in 1 John 4:8 that "...God is love."

if that is true, then why would it be wrong for a man to be in a loving, sexual relationship with another man?

Do you know any non-sinner? In the bible, sinners had to live the rest of their lives in the desert to get in God kingdoms. Do you need to be a saint to get there or is it okay if you sin one in a while and you apologize to God but you keep going anyways because that's what everyone does.

Haha! I love your answer!

I have to agree that God is very jealous... His three first commendments are about how you should not believe in anyone else than him and how you should celebrate the Sabbat which is His day. Jealousy is one of the sins. God is a sinner.

SIN is something that is moreally wrong isn't it? But in God's opinion or something....

And for the original question, I don't personally know nor care. If you're gay, be gay if you feel its what you want to be. Hell cannot exist unless a God was evil enough to enjoy looking at people suffering from the worst torture. If God really didn't want to have sinners go in Heaven than why would he just not destroy the people's soul and all. he could just make them banish so they would rest in peace for ever and no one would need to suffer except for the rare people who go in heaven and know their love ones are inexisting which is better than suffering.
