Actually, I seem to remember that there is a theory in physics that states that matter may spontaneously appear. I suppose it's also possible that a whole bunch of random photons could colide to produce matter, which just happens to take on the form of an apple.
But in all likelihood, you'd be here for trillions of trillions and trillions of years. And it still wouldn't have happened.
So, technically yes, but so unlikely that the numbers involved become meaningless to most.
If everyone prayed at the exact same time for a apple to appear from thin air do you think the apple would appear??
If every child wished at the exact same time that Santa would appear from thin air, do you think Santa would appear?
