So, can we all (except for chubawhatever) agree that the god we define is the one in the 3 Abrahamic religions? I mean, I don't know about you guys but I have nothing against calling the universe or nature god, that's fine. But the god that we are atheistic towards is the one portrayed in the bible/koran/torah/ etc.
Did you ever read the Bible, Koran or Torah? I don't think you did. I think you base your knowledge of the God talked about in the Bible or the Koran solely on the intrepretation of other people.
The Bible says God is love. But you go and claim God is an old man with a beard. Please.. get a clue and learn to think for yourself and don't just mindlessly copy how other people intrepret the Bible.

First off, the Judeo-Christian god is referred to as a Male (Which makes no sense because he's supposed to be this mega uber gai wif all kinds of awesome powers-- But he's the only one. So why would he need a gender? Well simply because males wrote the bible of course.) and is quite an ass throughout the OT.
In the NT he doesn't really change-- You just meet a new character who's supposed to be the offspring (You figure that one out) of this Omnipotent, Sentient, and Male creature. So the son acts all great, but occasionally has his mood swings (Fig tree) and basically we don't hear a lot from this God person, making him look infinitely better than in the OT.
I said atheism is completely pointless.

How does "believing God doesn't exist" make you any wiser? It's like one sentence. I already memorized that sentence, therefore I already memorized the whole of atheism, and atheism can't learn me anything new anymore.
I believe in all religions, unlike you, I have an open mind and I extract wisdom out of any information, and I ignore bullshit.
