Thread: What would you say if you ended up in hell?

I think, after careful thought, that you now must make sure that you live a sinful life, in order to test this scheming plan.

I'll be watching from a skyscraper in heaven, with a sniper rifle (unfortunately, as I have written this in an edit, I am unable to insert the contextually comical sniper emoticon). Darn.

I've already got my parking space in Heaven reserved. IF I ended up in Hell, it would be on assignment, as a double-agent from Heaven, ya see. I've been told that we've gotta keep tabs on what's going on down there, periodically, and when I'm sent on missions, I get to be as naughty as I want. It's all part of blending in. You know - playing the part of an unruly hellion.

So, needless to say, I'll still be giving 'em Hell, in Hell.

Ah, I see. But, you've still fallen into the James Bond Paradox, trying to save the world with a license to Kill. Talking of saving the world, I've gotta go.

I'm sure i'd be in so much pain that I wouldn't be able to form words. I'd stick with crawling away to the farthest corner of that world, burry myself in the ash and try as hard as I possibly could to evolve into the next superbeing, so that I may challenge the lords of hell and overthrow them in all my glory.

Well according to my understanding hell is the realm of the hangover where one is reborn with only a fading recollection of who they were or how they deserved to get there. Let's say instead, though, that Hell is just the place where all the non-believers go because apparently the greatest test in the universe is not whether or not you give happiness and freedom to people, but whether or not you believe in a giant invisible man. In that case, I think I'd choose not to exist in such a retarded universe any longer.

I thought that pain was due to the nervous system sending a response to the brain that our body is being harmed in some way. In light of that fact, if our "soul" is everlasting and indestructible, (and if the soul contains a nervous system), then wouldn't the sole purpose of pain be refuted, as the soul can not be damaged as the body can? Anywho, if Hell is indeed real and I am in error then I would probably just make the best of it. And after a thousand years or so, I would like to think that my soul-body-thing would adapt to pain and take no notice of it. At that point, I would write a book on the similarities between God and Hitler and inspire everyone to help me build a tower to heaven, or something like that.

I'd be like... "Fuck, I'm really fucked now! Why did I end up here? whatever the fuck happened to the mercyfull god?".

I don't believe in God, Satan or Heaven. All is made up by man.

That is another aspect of the absurdity of the concept. What are people doing with bodies and nervous systems when they are dead? Are they given fire proof new ones that will never deteriorate just so they can be tortured forever? I think that would mean God did not exactly do the best job he could in the creation process.

If God created everything other than himself and knew that billions of humans would be tortured for eternity in that creation, he is infinitely more evil than Hitler.

While I don't think he cares what you call him, whether it be God or Allah [as long as you acknowledge him], if it turns out he did and I went to Hell for knowing him by the name of God, I would probably tell him that he should have made me a psychic. What an unfair God that would be.

I have thought about "what if I was being judged the same time a friend or a complete stranger did and I was allowed into Heaven but they wern't. If I God said, they can go to Heaven but you have to take their place in Hell." would I do it? everything in me wants to say yes. I think i say that becasue my personal belief is so strong I don't believe that God would ever let that happen to me. What if you were given the choice to take teh place of someone else so that they wouldn't have to suffer that?

If I woke up in Hell?

I'd look around, find Satan, stare him straight in the eye and say,...
"You don't exist."

Then poof! He, and his brimstone palaces, and his netherworldly horrors, and his fiery landscapes, and his unholy legions of wrathful, lustful, hateful spirits would all cease to exist within the scope of my very eye. ... because in my eyes... Hell is an illusion of man built on the notion of mankinds most extreme and unforgiving states of mind. Simply a reflection of a hazardous, unrelenting, and unforgiving sense of lack-consciousness, and stockpiles of negative energy set upon an imbalanced scale of sanity.

One step over the cliff. ... One spoke missing from the wheel ... A spiral of descent, unto the depths of madness...

Thats the only Hell that a conscious human being could ever truly know. Not knowing up from down, or God from a potato.

A literal Hell?

I would believe that a life spent pretending to think is hell.
