      The Messiah's Name

Has anyone ever known that Jesus was never the first name of the Messiah? in the Old Testament, when God was once known as 'Yahweh', the Messiah was known as Yahoshua. What's funny is that J's did not exist 2,000 years ago, so how did this name originate?

I would recommend that if you do not know much about celtic mythology that you should do some research on Wikipedia or somewhere else on the web. In the Celtic panethon there is a god known as Esus or Iesus. He was a paganistic deity of the old times. What's quite interesting is that his name means 'Lord' or 'Master' and not only does the name resemble such a great similarity between Jesus's name, but J's originated from the I's in the alphabet long ago.

      "Iesus"

      v

      "Jesus"

Could you imagine if corrupt members of the church translated a false version of the Messiah's name to only have them worship something that is idol? Quite interesting, to say the least. If the rules of heaven and hell existed, the Satanists would be winning with the amount of people they have easily tricked.

      Opinions?

Jesus is a name recorded by historians of a similar period as the Biblical Jesus, I think it is Josephus (Josephus? Antiquities of the Jews anyway) who mentions a teacher of the name stirring up crowds in Galilee and Northern Judea.
My point is that there are records of a man named Jesus dying on the cross, whether he was a Messiah or not, so I don't think the early Christian Church needed to restyle some Celtic belief.

What time period did the Celtic Iesus appear in, out interest?

The Messiah's name is George Foreman.

He gave humanity salvation from greasy, fatty and impractical grilling mechanisms with his 'Lean, Mean fat-reducing, Grillin Machine'.

I want to hear no more on the matter.

[How stupid it is to argue over the name of a man from two thousand years ago. It isn't about his name; it's about his actions. Either way he was a wise man who believed in a ridiculous God; and sadly corrupted the world since. His name is inconsequential.

If you need to proof that his name is fabricated from paganism to show you that his story is clearly fabricated itself I pity you.

I am as much a God as "Jesus Christ"]

I'll agree that the name or person doesn't really matter in terms of the ideals of Christianity. But I'll accept that there are some who believe thoroughly and utterly in everything the Bible states, so this is relevant to them.

And obv I'll agree with George Foreman. Boxing's loss was grilling's gain.
