star in east signaled coming
performed miracles
ressurected after his death

Greece - 500 BC

Dionysus
Born of a virgin

performed miracles and turned water into wine
was known as king of kings, alpha and omega
ressurected after his death

Persia - 1200 BC

Mithra
Born of a virgin on dec 25th
had 12 disciples and performed miracles
dead for 3 days, ressurected
referred to as the truth and the light
the sacred day to worship mithra was sunday
