Did you ever realize how few people are actually commited to this message board? I mean every month we get new people that hang around a month or two and then they leave but there is always a core group of individuals that toughs it out and hangs around. Do these people have no life? Do they thrive on this kind of debate? Are they insane? No reply required unless you feel you must, I just wanted to point that out as it made me laugh. |

an interest in religion and/or spirituality doesn't make someone insane or mean they "have no life". |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
I think I have prettty much covered the areas of religious debate I wanted to learn much more about. The major areas were how a god can be both omnipotent and totally good at the same time but allow suffering, the difference between an atheist and an agnostic, how much sense Christianity makes, and why God would not require a creator but the rest of existence would. I debated them into the ground with a lot of theists, and I got to the point of seeing where the conversations inevitably end up going. I fully understand the patterns now, at least as much as I am going to from this forum. I learned what I was trying to learn here. I will still have a few conversations in this forum, but my days of being an every day regular are over. |

You are dreaming right now.
Looks like you're running out of days then, Lucid_Boy. |

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
