      Banned from the Bible History channel

      Has anyone ever watched a serious on history channel called Banned from the bible? I saw a little bit of part two a couple of nights ago and it was interesting. I also got a friend of mine to watch as well. I had to change the channel though half way through the program only because Stan Lee's Harpies was coming on scifi channel and I wanted to see that movie.

      yea, ive seen both parts of it. The history channel is awesome.

      The fact that anything was banned from the bible concerns me.

      It was interesting to hear too that apparently they liked to link names and stories to fill in gaps as well. Meaning they were creative with stories.

      Well for starters they did say Eva wasn't the first woman God created for Adam. God had orginally created a woman from the earth that wanted equality, but Adam wanted her to submit and she wouldn't so they turned her into a demoness.

      The show also talked about how Jesus compared himself to Solemen as well and that there is a text of Solemen that wasn't included in the version of the bible now that said in order to build the temple he used demons.

      You guys remember when they found the scroll of Judas which presents his perspective? Pretty enlightening, according to it he was Jesus' most loved disciple and acted out of orders, not greed.

      Nobody will know what's been banned from the bible, if there is anything whih im sure because you know how humans are when they see stuff they don't like. The original bible is probably long destroyed now..it's been thousands of years.

      The oldest gospel was St Thomas gospal, so if their was a jesus then the st Thomas gospal is proberly what he said. Ironically speaking their is no mention off folklar in the gospal, so it proberly was added in later. Also, jesus at the end said that we should treat woman as men so they can become men, which is proberly why people don't use the gospel.

      Actually we do know what has been banned because the show itself said they have found text and scrolls talking about these people or stories. If it wasn't for the archieve being kept then we wouldn't know, but there is so much they have found recorded that was either dropped or forgot.
