well i guess they have every right to put across their evidence, although at the natural history museum there is no mocking of religious fews on creation, where as this museums main theme seems to be to insult science and say its ridicolous. Though i guess if your views are so strong then you can't help but think that.

However i dont think they are the wrong about the great flood. It obviously happened, with the ending of the last ice age.

well its nearly ran out!:p i ment when the majority melted, of course theres going to be a large sea level rise and a lot of in land floods when lakes surrounded my ice were freed. Undersea japanese pyramids are evidence of a big change in sea level, so its not suprising the stories were passed down and exaggerated and ended up in religious books.

Does anybody know why people WANT to believe stuff like this? Is it just stupid people explaining what they cant understand, and then reinforcing it with circumstancial science?

Haha I vaguely remember that show! The bad guy had like a fishbowl on his head. Then one time, it cracked, and he's holding it together with his hands :lol:
I just went to the Field Museum in Chicago, and in addition to their usual displays they have a whole special section on evolution, and one on the life of Darwin. So luckily the Creation "Museum" has a little competition from a somewhat more reputable organization.
It was really cool; so was "Sue" the T rex, but I kind of expected it to be bigger. Seemed about the same size as the others.
P.S. There have been a lot more dinosaurs discovered with fossil evidence of feathers. Lots of little raptors (one discovered by a 14 year old and called "bambiraptor"; there was a "microraptor" too; both really tiny.) Fully developed feathers developed before flight (by the line of dinosaurs that became birds; of course there were insects and pterdactyl-types that could fly). Very interesting. The museum called dinosaurs "non-avian dinosaurs" to seperate them from birds, which they say are actually dinosaurs--the avian dinosuars.
