Thread: Question could a Human be a God?

Well its a very filosofical and long discussive thing to wonder about. What I could say is that it would be very selfish to think as of one being god, but everyone on the otherhand, I'd say then we must be some sort of cause or destiny mission to not be able to use our powers, I doubt a god would fear, but then again, god could mean millions of things.

a human is said to either save the world or destroy it. and if a god who has lived among humans could understand this, then the fear of using those hidden powers would only lead to his/her own demise when they witness the destruction of their home knowing that they had the power to save it. just a taught

I know that is most likely a sig but I also thought it was interesting when applied to this thought. If humans do evovle or if a evovlution does happen would that then allow God like thought or a God to be born? Would a evovled human be seen as a God because they have ability's that many don't? I hope nobody minds my questions. I'm not trying to insert a view of a God, but I love questioning things. It is out of respect to others that I do question and if anyone is bothered please let me know. I just wanted to see what people here would think of these type of questions relating to different ability's and the creation of ability's beyond our own understanding.

The structure of Ancient Beliefs supposed that at a certain level the Heroic would transition over to becoming Immortal which was the only necessary attribute of the Gods. in such a model, when Hercules became Immortal, he essentially became like a God.

In all of the more recent Higher Religions we have what are called 'Saints' who possess the ability to perform Miracles. Well, Miracles are ordinarily attributed to God, so what does it make a person who by his very will can perform Miracles? In this context, Saints would seem to be very God-like. However, often the Saints themselves complicate this explantion by insisting that these powers that they demonstrate source from beyond themselves.

So, I suppose what we can actually aim for is not so much to become a God as to arrange to have some working relationship with the powers and agencies of Divinity.

Now, regarding the powers inherent in Sainthood. In all of the History of the various Saints, we have seen no huge global miracles. We've seen very influential miracles, but the actions which transpired were in themselves local events. So far no Saint has ever moved an entire mountain, or anything on a similarly large scale. Perhaps it is a case in which Human Miracles must be done on a Human Scale.

He may not have been a saint, but I did see someone make a Mountian Disappear (I forget his name), as well as a Rocket Ship...

Mountains are made to disappear by adjusting the view perspective of their audience or the camera, while the Mountain remains exactly where it had been before. And Rockets which are made to disappear are returned to their owners after the program is over, demonstrating that they were only cleverly moved aside momentarily.

So the largest Miraculous Events, as per scale, seem to be those in which the Miracle Worker had been able to effect the local weather -- stopping a violent rain storm, or calming a turbulent sea.

Wasn't Heracles the only Hero to attain Immortality?

So that means I'm almost as predictable as the gods in the various bibles. More evidence to my being god.

Incidentally, I've moved mountains on more than one occasion. But personally, I prefer to just order my crews move the mountains for me.

lol, did anyone see the southpark episode with the david blaine tryng to make a religion, showing of his "miracles". I think that episode could go with that

Now not so much for global, but din't moises open a river in two to make way for all his followers? thats like moving a mountain, and if it happend I sure would of had wanted to see that

Rivers aren't that tough. I'm working on my A1 license right now. Lots of people moving rivers and parting seas on a daily basis. Hell, even the morons in the Army Corps of Engineers can do it about 10% of the times they try...

That whole question went way over my head, but I do know this. Human's are very flawed, but through their flaws they are able to live on (at least for the time being, anyway.) Plus if a Human can't be God in real life, I think we all know where they can.

we all create our own universe through our perception of what is real. in that sense, we are all the Creator of everything we experience. our own god, so to speak.

I don't think our world is ready for the truth about pure awareness even if there had been someone born with it. The problem with someone who might believe they are part of a God is others would call them crazy. In a sense this is a safe guard from false prophets which is a good thing. One might think it is bad, but there are some good reasons why fear is needed. If there wasn't fear then we would do stupid things. Yes fear can be miss used by those who fear their own life, but without fear what would stop a person from trying to fly? Yes in a dream we can take off from a build and just fly like a wind, but in reality we would fall to our own death. Don't think of fear as a restriction, but more a safety measure to help humans grow. In some way we need challenges to help ourselves grow.
