      Baptism of the Spirit

      Baptism of the Spirit

The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is largely self evident. Those who think that there is no True Spirituality outside of the purview of Protestant Christianity would first have to show that Protestant Christianity has any connection to True Spirituality, and then show that such a connection is absent in all other Spiritual Organizations. As a Catholic I am proud of the Catholic Heritage of Saints and the Spiritual Sponsorship of Our Lady the Blessed Virgin. These Great Saints demonstrate in concrete terms the Fruits of the Vine of Christ. But looking to the East, signs of other True Spiritual Organizations are evident and difficult to ignore.

The Bigoted Christian needs to consider that the Church of Paul was not the only branch of Christian Teaching that emanated from Mount Bethany and the Pentecost. Historians are impressed with how the Religious Terrain of the Entire World quickly underwent a fundamental change soon after the Advent of Christ. Polytheism waned and the prevalent Religious Philosophies which emphasized a Stoic self-centered concern for a strictly selfish peace of mind gave way to what must have been a Christ-Like impetus toward Universal Love. So the Bigoted Christian who rejects out of hand the Religions of the East simply because Christ has no nominal connection to them, might wonder whether the connection does not in fact exist at a more subtle, more spiritual level. Proof Positive would be in any True Manifestation of the Vine of Christ. We have seen it typified in the Catholic Saints, and then we can see the Same Thing in the Oriental Religious and Yogic Orders. Where the Effects are the Same, we must consider that the Source is likely the Same – Christ.

In fact, nowadays we may find more Fruits East than West. Remember that Paul the Antichrist largely conquered the West, in the Victory that Protestantism had over the Truth. But the East Survived in a relative purity.

So, if you desire to be a True Realized Christian rich in the Fruits of the Vine of Christ, then consider going East. Any number of Traditions will give you some form of Shaktipat – Baptism in the Spirit. A few are mentioned in the URL’s I’ve provided below.

But do remember that although the touch of these Gurus is in some degree Magical and Mystical, still the Parable of the Sower and the Seeds still applies. A Guru can lend you a touch of the spirit, as a seed, but it must be nurtured and strengthened by yourself. There are hundreds of Devotees in these various Organizations, and for the most part no great benefits are seen to be uniformly and generally distributed. However, a small minority are benefited wonderfully. A Good Seed requires a Good Soil. So if you feel as though you have a great potential which barren Christianity is doing little to cultivate, then, go East young man, go East.

No one gave you the respect you deserved, Leo Volont.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

      Hahahahaha
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

The biggest problem with Christianity in general is the men who founded it and the men who lead it today.

I don't doubt Christians, some being in touch with what they believe to be the source of life. I don't doubt everyone's potential to be one with the spirit, I think Christ is just a clever name to describe it. I'm not Christian, though I was born into a Protestant family, I've long denounced it.

It's sickening how some Christians believe their way to be the only way and the rest of the world to be destined to hell because they didn't learn about Jesus is cracked out. Though it probably doesn't bother a lot of us since, the concept of hell isn't found in every religion.. Either way, we can all be one with the divine, the all, the one, the many however you may describe it.. We'd all be praying to the same deity or source if one does in fact exist...

I wouldn't be surprised if the greatest symbolic truths to the universe were being guarded by the dumbest jackasses that ever lived.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
