I am studying Buddhism myself but I am very early in my studies, so I dont really have anything of substance to share. However, I would just like to share this tidbit about AA and NA. Their success rate is between 10-15% on average. In other words, they have a very small concentrated community of people that have been going their for a long time. It is very similar to church. It is limited to a certain kind of person who need that brand of support.
Just any fyi on that...
