I think whole christianity is basically a scam to rob you from ur free will. Do as it says in this book and be in happy land or forever be tortured. Basically that's how you manipulate a kid into doing what you want him to do. You promise the kid treats if he does what you want and punish him when the kid disobeyes.

I wish that is what heaven would be like when we die, but sadly her side is no different then a ranting christian. It's likely all a by product of the brain, but i'd love to live in this spirituality side of "heaven" just because the feelings you get and how everything is alive (like the movie Avatar), the talking in the mind, etc. It's a much better place to live then where we live now. But this is likely just our brains way of telling us with as much human emotion as possible that we need to live our lives. We think it's heaven because we wanna believe in that, and our brain tells us what we want to hear, but not what actually happens. Or else it does and we are all just too primitive to understand right now. Why does our brain give off all this emotion? beats me, i guess we just fall for something that feels so real to us which is why so many people are changed by the profound expierience they had while in this state. What's even more funny is before you die you get a lot of endorphins and you feel great even KNOWING you're going to die. It's not a last FU, but likely knowing it's the end, and your just enjoying your last moments alive while you're alive. Instead of crying you're going to cease to exist, you're happy you got a chance to live a life you will never get to expierience again.and it was much cherrished. But what do i know? i have never expierienced this NDE thing, the most i have is endorphins firing off which by the sounds of it does not even come close to your potential of explosion feelings you get in an NDE.

I'm sorry man, i tried. I told myself i'll listen to it no matter what but i just can't, and i've listened to a lot of heaven and hell stories on youtube. The guy talks about he does not have to let people into his house like it's a human thing, it's not fair what he is asking us to listen to, it's just not right! Not only are we naturally born sinners, if this god was real then why would he even care what we do. The true fact is, you create your own hell in your own head. and also the thing that bothered me the most wasnt the faulty logic or his metaphors, it was that the maggots were able to survive in the intense heat of hell. are they mutant demon maggots thriving on flesh and lava? i think in my next lucid im going to go to hell and deliver water bottles to all those thirsty people, and some bug spray.

Meh, the mind is powerful. Take a heavy dose of acid and watch scary movies and you may find yourself in "hell".

We draw it where the manipulation starts. When they control people through fear, thats what makes me really fucking angry. But theres not much you can do about it because people are so stupid and can't grasp basic concepts.

Entitled to your opinion but I disagree. The entertainment value was worth the watch imo.

The maggots aren't actual living creatures...no more than the flesh of your body is actually real in hell. Now, if people disappeared completely when they die...then we could assume that they are taken body and soul into heaven or hell. In that case, the flesh would be real. But last I checked, people leave their bodies behind, hence the term "corpse"...therefore, the flesh in hell is not actually physical matter. Nor are the maggots or anything else actual physical matter. Also since hell is completely devoid of water, maggots would not be able to survive, and humans would be completely dessicated when they arrive. They'd be shriveled up prunes. Obviously, in hell we are made to think we have a physical body but it's merely our astral or torture body, and we are physically eviscerated day in and day out so that we may fully appreciate the magnitude of our sins for all eternity. Praise Jesus.

It's too bad souls don't go anywhere except 6 feet under, along with the skin.

I'm not sure comparing hell to prisons makes much sense, considering we don't put people in prisons for all eternity.

That comparison doesn't seem to bother god, who is willing to inflict eternal/infinite punishment for finite sin.
