Ok, but if I ran my program, I would have noticed my error, and I would have been able to easily correct it. Is this true or not? |

This is going offtopic, and I think I've proven that I know how to program, my code did indeed not make sense but that is because I haven't programmed in ages. If you replaced the / with % the code would work. Someone who has never programmed couldn't have possibly written that piece of code. Even if the code doesn't work, it doesn't matter. It's the thought that matters |

The problem is not the simple replacement of / with % but the thought process involved as you rightly conclude. I would be more than happy to forgive a simple syntax error but I asked for one program and you provided a completely different program. I have no doubt that you understand programming at a syntactic level. The program that you showed indicates a complete lack of basic reasoning though without which being able to understand programming from a semantic level is out of the question. You are now further compounding this by attempting to assert that a completely wrong program demonstrates your ability as a programmer. And like I said earlier, programming is as on topic as computers are. You're the one that brought those up in an attempt to make a broken analogy. If you want to switch back to evolution, I'm sure we would be more than happy to help you humiliate yourself on that topic as well. |

That's not the code you posted. You fixed it after we told you how to. What exactly does this prove? You're essentially, putting words in my mouth and using a "straw man" argument. This is a typical creationist tactic. It's amusing to see it used outside of the context of a debate directly about creationism. I wonder if creationists know that they're intellectually dishonest or if this is really how they think. |

What point still stands? That I can't program eventho I did write the right code? I mean the evidence is there, black on white, and you guys still ignore it. Amazing. |

Stop being stupid, please. It isn't my idea of god. It is one idea of god that is common, which is why I was addressing it. I wasn't talking to you past the first few sentences. I don't know what your idea of god is, but I have thought about it and the conclusion I came to is that there is no thing which I would call "god." |

I love when you do this. You ignore the rest of the post completely. Nice. |

Hahaha, "it is but a scratch" ... "your arm's off"... exactly like the programming argument here. I post working code and people claim I don't. So I'm arthur and PhilosopherStoned is the Black knight? |

I think you're confused... but hey, it's possible that everybody but you is wrong. |
|
I don't mind admitting that I'm wrong, I'm wrong. There. Happy? For me this is about getting good arguments and counter-arguments. Not about being right or wrong. I'm in search for the truth, so if I'm wrong I will gladly admit it. But as long as i don't understand why I'm wrong, I can't really admit that I'm wrong, now can I? |

Sure the first code didn't work, but after I changed the / into %, it did. So claiming I can't program is a lie. |

Saying that I have never ever made a respectable post, would mean that you would have to have read each and every single post I made. Which you obviously did not do. So this is a lie. |

Right. If you want me to stop posting, stop asking questions, stop talking to me, stop replying to my posts. People are insulting me because I'm not answering all their questions, and now you're going to complain that I do answer to many questions. Make some sense? |

If I just ignore you you're bound to pop up in some other marginally better thread that I want to post in and derail it. The worst part about you is how you argue the same nonsense over and over again in different threads that we have to defend against time and time again. I like playing ping-pong against an opponent, not a wall. |
