This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.
Your absolutely right, I have no evidence. Other than seeing far too many out of wack people running around on those late full moon nights.. Whether the moon does it itself, or if it's psychological I am unsure.. Either way I am positive people act strange.. |

What's an example of this craziness? Just wondering since everyone has a different definition and scale for craziness. |

Well, traditionally they thought that this was the case, right? Hence 'lunatic' in English? All I know is the traditional myths that lunatics were named after the moon because of their behavior during the full moon. I have also heard more recently that it has something to do with mental disorders which operate in cycles or phases, and appear (but are not) in sync with the moon, or that these people weren't able to sleep and so it exasperated already present problems. I dunno I wasn't really paying attention. I just looked on wiki and it does a good recap of everything I just said... so good in fact that it makes me wonder if the prof simply read wikipedia (unlikely) or if that's all there is to it so far. |

It's been forever!
Although the Earth is bigger, the moon is further away. |

You are dreaming right now.
