Apparently the generation after us will be much more label-free... and here I thought we were so progressive and shit. |

All through life we are forced to assume an identity. Since birth we are told "you have to accomplish x thing to be somebody." |

I don't see why some people have to label themselves 'anti-label' all the time. It's perfectly clear that any label people put on people has no intrinsic value. Labeling is just some high school stuff that hangs with some people. It's human nature, partly. |

I'm so non-conformist that I'm not going to conform to you guys. I love labels. |
|
Well I'm going to hate labels just so I don't conform to the new anti-nonlabeling bandwagon you've started. |

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
I'm known as different labels, because even though I am the same person, I fit into many different spots. I am labeled by what is different between me and the rest of the people in the surrounding group. |

if i agree with the non-conformist i am in fact conforming with the non-conformists. should i conform with the non-conformists or the conformists?? Aaahhh!!!! |
|
This shit never happens to me

You losers. |

technically i'm not jumping on any band wagon. This is a conclusion i have come to based on my own experience. In fact no one has ever told me to not conform or to not label. Some labels are appropriate. but why do people go to such extremism with them? |

It pisses me off when people think I'm stupid just becouse I can act like a child soemtimes. It seems like only my friends & family understand. I'm NOT a idiot just becouse of the way I express myself. I may act like a child in some cases, but that is because I live life on impulse. I have a lively soul, but that does not make me stupid. People judge me just beouse I'm funny. |

Why can’t life be like in the fairy tales? It’s always happily ever after, and entirely black and white. There are no unresolved characters because, in the end, the bad guy is defeated and the hero and heroine live happily ever after.
The only label I have is my name. |

People usually think I'm smart until they get to know me. It pisses me off, I'm a total fucking idiot in reality but I come off like I know what I'm talking about just because I have some words. Then, it's like there's expectations of myself imposed by others that I can't reach. I don't know, everyone sees so much more potential in me than I do. |

It is funny how we attempt to sum people up in categories like we do everything else in life. Essentially none of it works except to familiarize ourselves with commonalities and likely outcomes. This is not a bad thing until we forget WHY we are labeling. When the label becomes the object in our mind, there is a problem, and truth is lost. |
