I was thinking what if our brains had flash memory? If we died all our memories would still be present. That's when I can to the realization that we do, at least biologically as in the brain cells.

Just at first glance it would seem it would be possible to bring back the dead providing we know how memories are shaped. Isn't a person's mind the sum collection of all their memories and experiences?

These questions present the problem as to whether or not they would be the same people. From their viewpoint they have died and ceased to know anything including their revival, while the recovered person will have memories of before. Is a person's consciousness a one time gift?

Tell me your thoughts.
