I think nature has this one worked out - you only see death if you die, so therefore this scenario can't occur. |

Ok.. imagine someone close to you had a near-death experiment, crash-car or whatever ok.. |

Depends on the situation. If they were still in pain and slowly dying, I would concider it. |

I think if you die and come back you have made the conscious choice to return to earth with the knowlege and serenity that "death" is an illusion. |

i'd tie him down and drug him up real good. |

Throwing your life away just because you think you had a glimpse of something that MIGHT be heaven/afterlife? Sounds risky. I'd slap that person and show him some tough love. |

Quin custodiet custodes ipsos?
I would want only the best for my friends. But death? I don't think that I would want to let them die, but I guess in a way it's kind of selfish on both parts. It's a very skeptical question. I can try to tell them my opinion, but I can't stop them if they don't want to be stopped. Unless it's suicide you're talking about, then that's different. |

I'm rich, biatch!
Well, you have to think about it. Well, think about life in a broader sense. After all the stuff they say about wanting to be dead, they may not realise that no matter what they do, there is absolutely no way that they can come out of life still alive. They're going to eventually be dead anyway. |
|
The best times of your life should not be when you're still so young, or else you'll live a life always dreaming of the past.
I agree. I'd try to make it clear to them that they'll get their wish soon enough. Why rush it? |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
I have read that people may experience a NDE, if they are convinced they are about to die. |

Are you dreaming?
Guess what happens when you die? Nothing. Notta. Zip. . |

Quin custodiet custodes ipsos?
Well scwiggly...i don't believe in an afterlife, heave, hell or whatever else you want to call it. and I've seen many people die...and i'm not depressed out of my mind, quite the opposite actually, it makes me enjoy life more...it's life, it's a cycle...it happens and there's nothing you can do about it...so why worry? |

Dude, bradybaker, I was just expressing what would happen to me personally. I wasn't thinking about what anyone else's life must be like. Just mine. |
