      have LD's affected your life?

im not sure if i should put this topic under philosophy or general dreaming, so i just put it here.

i thought it would be interesting to hear how having + controlling LD's have changed your life (if it did). i myself cant really take part in this discussion because i havent had a whole lot of LD's so far

Well, LDing changed my perception of the world upside down . It opened new perspectives and set up new questions.

But overall it gave me great satisfaction and confidence...

I think it has changed my perspective on many things and kind of made me question my reality and its purpose even more than before. It has also helped me in the process of self discovery and I feel it will ultimately take me closer to my roots, to my true being and purpose.

It is hard to describe, but I feel it will enlighten me in some way...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

I wish, I haven't had a detailed enough experience to see if it does.

      I hear good things though.
The best times of your life should not be when you're still so young, or else you'll live a life always dreaming of the past.

It hasn't really had any effect on me, other than how I sleep now. Remebering dreams a lot more often and having the occasional lucid dream makes sleeping seem more productive, and is often a lot of fun. A good dream is better than watching tv for an hour heh.

I've effectively used lucid dreaming in a system that I apply to own in everything I do.

i think that LDs have really effected me. it has helped me to question what is real, what is important, and just details in particular. like the shapes and colors i just see differently now...

I've only had 1.5 LD's (one short, one waking upon realizing I was lucid), which were brought on by reality checks. Now I find myself questioning reality every few minutes. Not a major change in my life, but still makes you think, and more aware of what is really going on around you.

If anything, LD'ing is only opening up yo mind to new stuff...

      I'd say it's enlightening, yeah.
