What are your thoughts on Life and Death, Existance as a whole.
Life is a Death sentence. Life is the slowest way one can die. What do we do with this gift, or "desease" (depending on how you look at it) called life? Whats it worth?
What about Death? What happens when we die? How do you view death? Do you fear it?
Personally I look foreward to death. Why? No one really knows what happens when we die. Wether we go up to some being in the sky, walk the earth aimlessly, dream for eternity, or just plain cease to exist... no one truely knows. The only people who know are the ones who have died. The dead being, well, just that, can't actually tell us what happens. This means, that the one valuable peice of knowledge that we all search for, but can never hold, can only be attained when we die. The dead know something we living will never know. So wether any religion is right, or wether there is no existance of a diety, is answered when we die. Upon death, we learn what truely lies beyond. But its a secret we will always hold, and never be able to share.
Death is inevitable anyway, so it might as well be embraced. There should be no reason to fear death either. If its all Christianity, we go to heaven and enjoy something better. Buddhism, Nirvana. Or you are reborn and live life again. If there is nothing past it, we cease to exist, and thus any feelings we may have go with it. We would not suffer, we would not care. So in any case, there is, in my opinion, no reason to fear death. I look foreward to it, and getting that one peice of knowledge we all strive for.
Dont get me wrong, I love life. Its great. I enjoy life, I enjoy the people around me, and I enjoy the things I can do with this gift I have. So though I look foreward to death, I be sure to make the most out of the trip. Live each day to the fullest, and enjoy what I've been given.
What are your views on the subject?
<Despite Religious examples, this is NOT a religious topic. I do NOT want this turned into a religious debate>
