Thread: What would you change about yourself

What would you change about yourself if you could be sure it would be a permanent and lasting change of your self?

The fact that I dont know the meaning of life.

Or maybe so that I can live forever.

Or I might make it so that I can be content with whatever I get in life and not want stupid things like the meaning of life or eternal life.

Blah.

IF I listed all the things that I would like to change we might exeed or bandwidth capacity.
How many choices do we get? .....one?

Howetzer: the title is "what would you change", rather than "what kinds of things would you change", so therefore I tend to assume it is meant in the singular...plus, the fact that d-tamer said "if you could be sure IT would be a permanent and lasting change".

But anyway...

OK, so call me vain, but really, if I could change anything, it would be my physical appearance -- not even weightwise, but my skin. Yes, I'd pull a semi-reverse-MJ and become tan and keen-eyed; more Asian-looking. If it was more than one thing, I'd become thinner right off the bat as well.

I would chnage myself in a way that i flet like a nicer person. I mean im nice, but I never feel totatlly nice. I love when I meet people who you can tell they are the nicest people ever. I feel that there is always this dark eveil could behind my niceness, and I owudl like to get rid of that.

I agree, dido Barbizzle, except I would like to add happiness. When you meet a person that’s nice to be around and very happy you can tell.

There's only one thing I would change. I wish I would have had the courage to tell things about myself. There were/are issues in my life, and one in particular that has been going on for over 10 years and I finally told one person two months ago about it, but no one else. I've always been a pleaser and have been afraid of people not so much judging me, but acting differently towards me if I told them.

*sighs as she thinks of those she loves* Someday I'll be open enough with you so these scars can heal...

i would like to be able to trust people more. and to be able to see their good sides more clearly.

A larger pineal gland.

I would change to become a better writer........

It would invovle a lot of reconstructing of molecules and such to create me as the ultimate being. 8)

If i could change anything about me, i'd want to be quicker, mentally and physically faster at the things i persue in life...

I'm depressive, obsessive, needy and insecure.

Just get rid of one and it'd do.

Yeah, it'd be good if you did that once in a while, it'd help. As I'm writing this I'm wallowing in a depression I've been carrying for seven years, and being open about it really does help. I'll bleed it all out one day, thorns and all. For now, I'm just sporadically smattering references to it, as in this post and the post above.

I wish to change nothing but if i had to I wish that I could be the best I can be insted of my current place in the prosess of becoming the best

uh I'd have to think about it for a long time. as for bad habits that i want to change, i can do that anyway with some time and effort (actually i'm already working on a big problem). as for appearence, i'm happy with the way i look. i'm pretty sure i'm happy with my idiosyncrasies...but maybe there's something, i'd just have to think.

my appearance doesn' t bother me..as my mother would testify...i sometimes have a very 'crazy' fashion sense...it's a bit hippy in the sense i like clashing colours, and loud prints...the crazier the better!
in terms of bad habits, i sometimes wish i wasn't so blunt, and that my temper wasn't so quick that i hurt people before i realise what i've said!
In spite of that, i have a lot of friends...guess it's part of my charm.

I'd like to be more apatheic towards people's opinions about me.

Id change the abilty to take hints better and not question the negitvis that would come out of it.

Like for example a girl i like was playing footsee with me and stuff and i still wasent sure if she liked me but really it preety danm obvious that she does...i regret not asking her out till this day.
