Recurring places?

I don't think I've ever had a recurring dream, but I have a few settings that I often dream in.
A school, a market, a town, a forest.
The school and market are always the same place, when I'm dreaming I realize I've been there before. They're always different though. Bigger, or a different setup, build or architecture, but always the same place. I'm not sure about the town.
I often dream I'm in a forest, but usually these are nightmares, and I'm not sure how I'd be able to tell it was the same forest, but I get the feelng it is... Just really vast in the way that dreamlands are.
Does anybody else have recurring places?

Yes, I get recurring places all the time. Mine are school, a snowy mountain, an airport, and a theme/amusement park. The last one I only started getting once I visted Disney World -- I dreamt of them for about a week. I guess it must have made quite the impression on my subconsious.

this is crazy. your dreams are ALOT like mine. i dream of a school that is always "my school" and its always the same place to me. but ive never seen the place in my life. there is also a supermarket with a movie theater at the back, a mall, and a church in a neighboorhood that im always walking around. ive walked out before and amazingly at least the mall, supermarket and neighborhood are all in the same "city". ive never been here in my life. maybe, ive thought in the past, these places could represent things in our subconcious. like ive gained some new academic knowledge today so i'll dream of the school. i dont know how acurate this is though since i dont keep a dream journal. but i thought it was crazy you said a school and explained it just like mine. what does your supermarket look like? mine, if you were standing in the front parking lot is like L shaped with a large department/grocery store in the middle 'bend' of the L and a movie theater and chuckie cheese type place on the back side if you were to walk around it. if you were to walk next to the supermarket up the road which is uphill there is something like a jiffy lube on the right and the road flattens out and bends to the left. if you were to keep walking down the road the neighborhood would be on the left.

it happens to me too , there are these locations that keep repeating in my dreams , there is a fancy shopping mall , a few houses , and a stair case(i keep jumping and floating down from it), these places do not exist in my waking life yet i keep dreaming about them and they feel very real detailed and familiar in my dreams, is this related to past lives? does these places actually exist somewhere in this world?
