      recurring dreams

hi everyone! i have a question about recurring dreams. so here is the dream.

a male friend of mine and i are always sitting side by side. (location changes, bar, party, family reunion) we are always having this very intense conversation, we lean into kiss, and someone always walks up and interrupts us, and i wake up.

i have this dream on average 2 times a month. when i was younger i use to have one about me and my siblings all the time, that one has stopped but sometimes this dream gets to me and effects my whole day. any thoughts??

How cute. What is the conversation about, and what emotions do you experience (during the conversation, and as you lean)? Any commonalities between the party that interrupts you?

Sometimes, dream interpretation works best when the interpreter only asks questions.

i never know what we are talking about, but we are always looking in each other eyes and very "into" one another. it feels like he says something that makes me incredibly happy thats when we lean in. the person that interupts us changes. i have been having this dream for 7 years now, it is almost a part of me you know?!?!

      Ahh yes recurring dreams....

Yours is a lot nicer than mine. I see this massive black knot and it gives me the chills. Also some very "cute" imagery sometimes, dancing flowers .etc. So Anyway my point is that re-occurring dreams are "grown" from something in your life. I see this ugly black mass as something from my past, and the dancing flowers were my "childhood" way of blocking out the nasty feelings. I tried some NLP (Neuro linguistic programming) visualization techniques and was able to destroy the bad imagery and haven't had this dream since.

I don't know if i should ask this but perhaps you are in love with this male? Or feel a very strong connection which you are not acting on IRL? The interruption could mean you don't want to pursue a deeper relationship or it could mean that you are not acting on your feelings for him. Only you can decide.

      All the best,

      FunK
