recurring theme in my dreams

Hello, I'm new here and am looking for a little input on a dream i've been having for the last week or so, i've already posted this in the newbie section but so far have not recieved any replies, the dream i'm having is about a close female friend and we always end up being together in the end of it but I always wake up before the sexual act occurs. Now, here's the strange bit, the setting is always different, it can be a normal dream in which i'm with my friends at a party etc to an apocalyptic dream involving me and my friends banding together in order to try and survive, in this example they all died except me and her, in the previous example it was after everyone had gone to bed, as you can see, the basic theme is always the same, it's just the setting/enviroment that changes. Any help you provide will be greatly appreciated and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

You state you are "tied to her" but then that you awake before a sexual act occurs. Aside from being tied to her, is there any other indication that sex is going to take place? Though I realize being tied to a girl conjures kinky thoughts, given the rest of what you describe, it seems much more to me like being "bound" to her is much more about emotional closeness than sex. In these dreams you both are always together, including through the "apocalypse" That suggests a bond outlasting time itself. Those are my thoughts.

I think you misunderstood part of it, I didn't actually state that I was tied to her, just that i'm always with her in the end of the dream, we'd start kissing and that's roughly when i'd wake up. I've never really remembered my dreams up until I started having these ones and now i've decided to start a dream journal to help me in the future as i've been sifting through the forums and am now very interested in the subject. Wow. I pulled that out of the air didn't I? Lol! Anyway, yeah it still mostly applies, together, tied or not. I guess I'm the one with the fallacy of interpretation here. Doh. I could explain how it happened, how I read lines at a time instead of words and how:

lines up in my brain and makes me see that word. Honestly. I had to read it 5 times before I caught what my brain was doing.

But uh yeah, sorry about that. Hard for me not to delete what I said as it looks silly now. But I made a mistake :/ lol
