Worst Nightmare I've Ever Had
I had this nightmare probably about 4 or 5 years ago. If it was about something going on in my life, good chance it's over with (then again, who knows). Just thought I'd write about it and see what people think.
Ok, it starts out with me and a group of people (all people I've never met before) inside a house. This house is only one room, with a couple little alcoves, but that's it. This room is completely white. There's no color at all. There's no tables, no chairs, nothing. Just a big old white room. And in the room there are portraits of a really sinister looking guy. He's staring at all of us and his eyes are moving as we move. But more than that, he's baring his teeth (he has fangs) and licking his lips as he looks at us. Each portrait he's in the same position (there's probably about 10 paintings) but each portrait he's doing something different...either just looking really evil, or licking his lips, or grinning with a fanged mouth. So we're all freaking out, not knowing what's happening. I find this stick or log or something like that. It's the only thing in the room with color and it's brown. I pick it up and snap it in half. All of a sudden a feel a really sharp tug on the back of my neck, my eyes roll in the back of my head and I fall over backwards. I get up and I'm in a different room. It's the exact same as the last room I was in, except there's no one here and it's all black. Everything in the room is black. And the pictures have no one in them. Then I hear pounding, and a booming voice saying "I'm going to kill you!" and the voice never says "I'm coming" or "hey I'm that guy in the painting" but for some reason I know it's him and I know he's coming to get me. I see his face reappearing in the paintings but this time there's no evil smile, just wide eyed, looking at me, a very vacant expression but huge eyes. In the other room he was looking at all of us, now, since there's no one here, he's staring only at me. If anything, it's even more terrifying then him licking his lips like he's going to devour me. I find another stick, I pick it up and break it in half. I feel the tug on the back of my neck, my eyes roll and I fall backwards and I'm back inside the white room again, except this time, everyone is gone and the paintings don't have anyone in it. Then the room fades and I'm in a forest with a group of people. The same people I think from the white room. We're going to a meeting in the middle of the woods to talk about what happened. They tell me that the guy in the painting is free and is lurking in the woods to kill us (great place to have this meeting right?) And a sign that you're going to be killed by him is if you're walking and all of a sudden you're alone. If that happens you only have a few seconds to live. So we're all walking, and then, wouldn't you know it, I find myself completely alone while I'm walking. I flat out feel like I'm going to piss myself, I have only a few seconds, I don't know what to do, I just start running. Then I hear a rush of wind, and something run by next to me through the woods, then a loud high pitched little voice screaming and a face just rushes up into me and I immediately wake up. Scariest crap of my life.
Any ideas? I seriously have none.
P.S. I watched one of the Harry Potter movies with my cousin a few years later and the whole people moving in painting things really freaked me out, took me right back to that dream.
