The Dark room

I saw this dream. There was this room where I live (My home I guess). It was a little dark. But it was an ok house with enough space.

There is this HAUNTED/horror (dark room) room. The door is brown I guess. And it was a double door too. I can't keep that door open for too long or the darkness that comes within that room will consume the whole house. Suddenly there was no door for that room. I think the door just vanished or was broken down by someone/something from the inside or It just disappeared one day. I think only me and my brother was home at that moment. I knew I had to shut the door without taking too much too, or the darkness will spread.

After a while, I think the door got closed. I did it maybe, I can't clearly remember.

So in the second part, after closing the door, somehow a part of the dark room's wall got breached, but not immediately after the closing its door. It was after a while, Maybe hours later or a day later (after securing the door ).

So the room next to the dark door has an opening to the dark room though the breached wall. I think something from the inside of this dark room made the wall breach. Somehow I managed to close this wall breach by putting a wooden door/structure to this breach. So the wall was brick or something solid. But the patch was wooden. I closed the breach before it was too late somehow. So I saw this dream a few days ago. Probably a week.

Yesterday I saw the next chapter/part of the dream. I saw all above on the same day as I recall. The following happened on a different day. So this is like part 2.

I saw the same wall had been breached again (the door was alright) on the second day of my dream. The breach was a little tiny bit less severe this time. It was a little bit better. But it was still pretty bad.

The strange thing was that the breach got closed automatically. The room did that. I suspected that It was a safety mechanism taken by the room, that dark room only made it look like it was repaired to the naked eye, but the opening is still there big time. It was a safety mechanism. So I touched the wall hoping to feel the hole of the wall. I was surprised there was no hole I could feel. So I was thinking to take a photo and see if the photo graph will reveal the truth, the hole/breach past the illusion. I didn't see the reset of the dream. I didn't get to take the photo and check. Please help.

This sounds a lot like a recurring dream I had. It also had a "dark room" but it wasn't a nightmare and it took place in a hospital. I wasn't able to enter the room unless I was taken in unconscious (so obviously I wasn't able to enter). I tried to go in, but someone stopped me. It was pretty vivid too. Why don't you try to go in the next time you have the dream?

The problem with this is that he doesn't have much control over himself, unless he's lucid

Speaking of lucid, this'd be a pretty good way to obtain it if this dream happens often. You could do an RC everytime you see darkness and relate darkness to being in a dream. But I guess you're looking for a meaning behind the dream, so I'll take a shot at it.

The dark room is most likely a sign of darkness or negative emotions, situations, etc. or all at once. Seeing how it's contained in a room, you might consciously be trying to hold it in. It keeps leaking out, so you keep having to deal with it. It has somehow reached a blind spot of yours where you are being deceived, yet the room fixed it for you. This may represent you can now unconsciously fix whatever's wrong. The problem still lingered, so now you opted to use some sort of other method (the camera) to help you out.

Or, this is your subconscious darkness. If you don't want it to be a problem for your future lucids, gain lucidity and go in there, and be prepared to face hell and accept it all as a part of yourself, like they do in the shows
