Death itself killed me.
I was in a dream (can't remember much though...) and I was standing in somekind of small hallway next to the front door. It was dark. I suddenly became lucid, and the second I did, The door openend and death itself stood there. He was all black and while he had no face he had a hood filled with blackness. It rushed to me and pierced his scinthe/chainsaw into my stomach. I immediately woke up. This all happened in like 2 seconds. It was a scary experience and It's just so weird that the moment I became lucid this happened. I'm actually scared that the next time I become lucid he'll be there again...

So what? It's not like it was Freddy Krueger. You are still alive. If you are afraid, he'll definitely be there. But remember. It is your dream. Your rules. The moment you become lucid next time, just turn yourself into a god, grow some tentacles, bind the "death" guy and interrogate to find out why the hell is he doing that to you. If he doesn't cooperate, squish him! :shadewink:

There will always be resistance to attempts at lucidity. It is the same with exercise. There will be pain, but as long as you figure out the healthy way of growth, you will be fine.
My suggestion would be to simply allow death to stab you and do your best to remain aware while this is happening. The most important thing is to resist the fear as it resists your attempts to become more aware. This is an exploration and we are naturally afraid of new or unknown experiences. Take it as a good sign. You are making progress. :)
I know that it sucks at times because the emotional energy can be so strong. Keep pushing though, and you will be all the more stronger yourself for it.
