    Finally Awake

by SteveLAG on 12-12-2011 at 05:54 PM
I've been working at this for some time now, over a year to be exact, and I believe I have had my first lucid dream.

I can't remember all the details of it since I wasn't sure at first, I mean honestly it took me a few minutes as i'm almost suspended in disbelief but I know it's true. I have never flew in a dream before, now like this. This wasn't like a bird in a valley type flying this was more like me zooming like goku thru the busy streets of tokyo. But when I did that I felt like a ball of light. No one could notice me, until I stopped when I saw a light of ball cross my path flying in my opossite direction. I stopped and turned around, (When I did this I had legs) and he looked at me and said what I would say if I wasn't paying people no attention, I thought he was just another random NPC untill he looked shocked and asked if I was awake. I said hell yeah and we began to like, rejoice. We played a game, it was lift need for speed drift on a canyon. But instead of looking at the screen with a joystick, I was the controller. I was way better at the game then he thought I was. I don't remember leaving or finishing the game but at some point I went back to flying around.

By this time I realized I wasn't the only spirit awake, I felt like I was being chased or I had some clash o encounter with some others. The way I got out of this was I was now able to control time. Stop, freeze, rewind, fast foward, along with a blast that came from my mouth like a dragon shout if anyone has played skyrium.

I had another part of my dream where I was laying on the floor next to my girlfriend, and we were talking. My eyes was closed but I knew that I was still in the dream world. And instead of opening my eyes and trying to go back, I just chilled and enjoyed our conversation because I feel like it was a spiritual conversation that she wont know we had, but deep down inside here that conversation is going to affect here.

I don't remember how it came about, I've been keeping a personal dream journal and though my recall has went up, this is my first lucid, I don't know how I awoke, I just knew I was, I think this'll mean that I'll be more awake more often now. I hope so and God Bless

    Over All Progress

by SteveLAG on 07-25-2011 at 07:34 PM
While I have yet to remember a lucid dream, I have progressed.

I find it easier and easier to meditate and achieve a clearer mind. I still get background music from time to time but now atleast I don't have a flood of thoughts when I close my eyes.

i noticed that around the same time my meditation skills have increased, so has my dream recall. Almost every night I am able to dream, wake up, and remember atleast one dream. Though I am still at a stand still for becoming lucid within my dreams.

A theory I have is that possible your dream world is some how linked to the thoughts you have during the wake. The thoughts you can't control but suddenly come into play.

    Night 4

by SteveLAG on 12-09-2010 at 08:17 PM
So last night I finally got a chance to get more sleep. I skipped night three as I only slept for 2-3 hours.

I experienced my first false false awakaning and i'm kind of upset that I didn't catch it untill I fully awoke. That's what I get for not drinking my vitamin water before bed, because I can't remember anything.

I also found out that stairing at something hypnotizing for 10 minutes can cause hypnoses to some extent, i don't remember what all it effects but it does increase relaxation. I figured pairing this with my vitamin water and Repeating "I will be in a lucid dream" till I fall asleep may work. It takes some time to do this before I sleep but if this works then I may finally have something valuable to contribute to this community.

P.S.: My love life is clouding my brain at the moment and is making it hard for my recall. It's thrown a rench in my plans, but nothing I can't over come with some work.

    Night 2

by SteveLAG on 12-07-2010 at 11:19 PM
Sadly the fact that I only obtained 3-4 hours of sleep was upsetting. Though I do feel as though progress is being made. One of my friends has change a persons sex in her dream so that a couple could be together, and the other has also done 3rd person. We're all working on our dream recall so we tend to go over our day before we go to sleep.

I also found out that my old favorite drink contains several usefull vitamins to help with my dream recall. (Vitamin Water, XXX)

Tonight I plan on finishing one before I lay down for sleep and chant "I will have a lucid dream". i've also been performing 2 reality checks more often through out the day. Though people still look at me funny when i just randomly say I'm dreaming. XD. Oh, and I've been back tracing how I get to the room I'm in when I remember.

i am hoping that as my dream recall increases I'll be able to find my dream symbol to help me becoming lucid. Going to start a list of the little things that show up to see if I can pin point it after a few weeks.

    First Attempt

by SteveLAG on 12-06-2010 at 08:21 PM
So December 5th, 2010 after watching inception, again, I have found www.dreamviews.com. Me being interested I obsees and read the site for hours. eventually convincing a friend to start a DJ with me. My girlfriend to me get the hell off and get to bed at about 2 o clock. My goal is to first just get to the moon.

I was confused on what to think as I went to sleep. Some how a chant that I was going tot he moon was stuck in my head, but then I kept forcing my self to have clear thoughts. I eventually fall asleep 2-3 hours later. Needles to say my first attempt was a failure, but i do remember a few chuncks of my dreams clearly. It had to do with boxing gloves and some friends boxing. I know I knocked my brother out who's bigger then me. So I know it was a dream.
