My advice may not be useful as all of the other poster but here it goes. Along with using the techniques mentioned above, you need good sleep. Maybe try fixing your sleep time so you're not deep in...

The more you can maintain attention to all phases of sleep, the better it is for your lucid practice. Don't just get fixated on dreaming... try to experience what it is like to fall asleep, keeping a...

Don't get too hung up on performing techniques, they are just different ways to become lucid that happen to have names. In short, the main goal in any technique is to be more aware and prepared for...

When in bed, do the MILD technique until you realize you're dreaming. Don't stop until you do, or else it won't be nearly as effective. The point of the MILD technique is to incubate what you're...

Yes, DJ is key. Make the effort to recall dreams every time you wake up. ADA is good but at the very least establish regular RCs. Really work on the RCs, don't be lazy, *do not assume you are...

Yes, in my experience you must always have a dream journal. Simply keeping a dream journal and doing nothing will give you a great chance at LDing. Then when you use a technique like MILD after using...

But that's not how you do a proper RC during day. When you do any RC during day, you expect it to work, because you expect to be in a dream, unless proven othervise. RC should start with an...

There was this massive party going on and there were loads of people at it. Outside the hall, in the corridor, next to the stairs up there is a slide, which twirls all the way down to the entrance to the building. The whole place has this extremely comfortable feel to it. The corridor has red, lush carpet which leads all the way to this epic slide. At some point during the day I leave the building and go outside to a McDonald's with a few friends.
One friend leaves when we've reached McDonald's and I go in with the others. The McDonald's looks like the burger town in one of the spec op missions in modern warfare 2, as it's surrounded by trees and there aren't many other buildings around. Even the weather seems to be the same as in the game, sunny but close to dusk.
I was arguing with my friend, I'm not too sure what about. I realised that I was very hungry and I wanted food. So I went out to get something. I had an urge for a kebab, so I went to a shop that sells them. I got there and asked for one. The dude over the till asked if I wanted to see a magic trick, I said yes. He asked for my phone and I gave it to him. I saw it in his hand and then it was gone. It just disappeared. It then reappeared, it was amazing. Looking at the time I realised I was getting late and so I got my phone back and just bought a baguette and wolfed it down.
