I had a dream last night that was less than pleasant. It had a very video game-like air to it at first with a lot of people in an area where treasure chests were scattered and hidden. The treasure inside would regenerate after a while of being taken, but it was randomized. I found a chest with little daggers and such, but it was someone else's stuff, they were keeping it in the chest for safe keeping and they were not far away. I told them I just wanted the dagger and I pulled a pine tree shaped cream dagger out of the chest, they looked at me weird because this was one of their more useless items one they had many of. I said yes and they let me have it, I walked off to continue my search. I came upon a group near another chest which was also empty, this group was gathered around a table. They spoke to me so I showed them the dagger, they liked it and were very friendly. I smiled and chit chatted with this frosty haired boy for a while before leaving.
The dream fades into a more...serious and um, morbid dream. I was unhappy and I knew why. A figure I can not remember the appearence of had told me 'Ever 150th person must die' he showed me a blue electric grid of names as he explained. Every 150th person must be killed because they make life difficult and such....pretty much to restore order, every 150th person on this name grid would be killed.
Obviously someone I knew and cared about was killed so I wasn't the happiest person and I sorta just went about my time keeping my heartache inside. A child stayed with me in the broken building I had taken resedince. I was a grump, seeming like I was constantly annoyed and tired of this kid's antics, I never smiled... and at the end...a flower with six shaped centers, I jumped through. I ran and the child's parent, was to be killed next. I knew this. The child did not, but he followed and witnessed it. Poor thing shouldn't have seen that, I was about to comfort him when I woke up.
I don't remember this dream well, but I will do my best at describing it.
I was with my mom and were going to a shop, from outside it looked like a bakery, the pastries were so deliscious looking, but alas we couldn't go in because it was closed. My mom and I left, we came to a counter, a mixture of walgreens and something else came to mind as my mom had to sign something for us to leave. As quickly as we left we returned, and still the bakery was closed, once again a major disappointment. We signed to leave again.
And finally, a third time. We came back, it was dark in the bakery...but also....it looked different. Not because it was dark but, it just looked VERY different. The walls were no longer white, they looked to be a shade of tan or brown, the floor wasn't tiled anymore either and the glass that pastries were in, wasn't there. Though it was pitch black far back. A counter with a black rim was to the left from where I looked inside the window. And a man, his hair was pulled back and he was dressed nicely. His hair was silver and his skin full of wrinkles, but only for a second. He became a young man with pretty brown hair and flawless skin, still in his nice clothes...and...now this is the weirdest part. He wore a black gas mask with a copper end, he looked at me for but a second. But a second was just long enough for the eerie feeling the building now held to become, almost like fear, not run away screaming fear, but just 'I'm gonna turn around and never come back' fear, if that makes sense. My mom began walking and I followed, we left for the last time, and then I woke up.
I had tackled the person...her I think. To the ground and I wrapped my hands around her throat. She struggled before my grip even tightened, her expression full of fear. I smiled, tightening my grip and watching them. My focus was mainly on the neck but I remember seeing she had the same pale skin I did and her hair was of medium length if not long. It was brown with a slight wave in it.
Her eyes were a similar shade of brown as her hair, now she seemed familiar. This though did not stop me.
Our surroundings were empty nothing but a large empty area with a dark gray floor, almost like concrete....but not quite. A small crowd was far behind us, viewing me strangling this person but they did nothing but stayed in the shadows. For heaven's sake, we were even in a spotlight, so it wasn't like they couldn't see this.
I stood on the balcony and looked out at the yard seperating the apartment buildings. Large masses of fireflies flickered and shined bright in the four corners of it, looking like bundles of stars had been taken from the sky and placed here. Even when the street lamps turned on the fireflies' lights shown brighter and could easily be told apart from the lamp light. I dashed to the other side of the balcony to get a closer look at the right side of the yard at the firefly bundles there. I was in total awe at them, I just couldn't take my eyes off them, they were so pretty.
Alas though, soon I went inside but when I got there I noticed two fireflies had landed on my black t-shirt and clung to me as I walked. I smiled thinking it was the cutest thing ever, so I grabbed a small spray bottle that said it was good for fireflies and aimed to spray near them but it sprayed on them. Instantly they scrunched up and were still, their lights no longer shining. My reaction was horror. I killed two fireflies! Oh no! My second was worry, I wanted to return outside to watch the rest but I was worried, so I went to my mom. I asked her if fireflies became an angry swarm like wasp or bees did when you killed one of them. For the first dozen times she wouldn't pay attention, so I followed her around as she worked.
I returned to my room after a while and saw a huge beetle on my bed! It was black and huge, it had long black legs and a mouth in the shape of a crab claw. Somehow it's sleek black body turned gray and when my mom came in I asked her to get it off my bed, she agreed and walked over to it with a peice of paper. The beetle was now white. What was it shedded skin? My mom reached over to brush the unmoving insect onto the paper but it's head and mouth fell off and those seperated from each other as well. Seeing nothing wrong, she brushed the broken bug onto the paper and turned to throw it away. I asked her if fireflies became angry swarms like wasp and bees if you killed one of them, as she threw it away. She chuckled lightly and said no. Releived I threw the dead fireflies away with the beetle and continued enjoying the other fireflies' presence.
Raphael from TMNT has a pet pigeon with great intelligence. He is out walking on the streets of New York with the pigeon in a cage, precariously balancing on his shell. Now before they had left Donatello had put a bird cage on Raph's to mess with him and to maybe get him to shut up when he was complaining back at the layer from being bored. Raph was annoyed but for some reason never took the cage off his head. He did continue to complain about being bored because of there being no trouble in the city. The pigeon chirped or whatever in response, making subtitles pop up saying its response. " ....... ... is over zaless [or zailence or some word with a zay sound in the beginning]"
"I know what you mean." Raph responded.
I watched as they walked around the corner, Raphael continued talking. "You see that melon on the corner it could've been a .......... POW!"
He repeated that sentence but ended it with a SPLAT instead.
