It's awesome that you're having some ld. I have been very busy in the last months and didn't think about lucid dreaming too much even though I had some. Like you I haven't been online lately but now I do once again

WILD can be very difficult for those that are new to lucid dreaming. Hell.. it can even be hard for the most experienced lucid dreamers. Still I would advise you to use the most down to earth methods such as MILD/RC/autosuggestion.

Ah thats good to hear. Noticing potential dreamsigns suggest that your lucid skills are developing nicely. Keep working on it: programme your mind to relax and focus on producing lucid dreams.

It doesnt matter about action. It's meant to leave a "marker" in your subconscious mind, so when you fall asleep it can remind you that you're in a dream. The key is to truly question your state of mind. Yea.. sounds kinda spiritual even, but you'll get used to it. You've got potential man.. I can feel it

^^ Congratulations Dicci0308! Sounds like you had a very exciting experience. From the way you described them, I would say that they were DILD's, and not DEILD's. When they talk about "chaining"...

This is true! A lot of people think their the exception and will NEVER be able to have lucid dreams. The truth is that ANYONE can have lucids (unless you were dropped on your head as a baby...) ! You...

Back when I first joined this forum I'd taken couple of years out of LDing after only having a couple of lucids as a teenager. I started trying to learn again and it took me over 8 months of intense...

I think my biggest problem now is that I'm in a habit of drinking and/or smoking before bed and it has wreaked havoc with my dream recall. I need to find a way to go to bed earlier and sober.. hmmm..

I'm glad I read this because it's just more reason for me not to quit. I hope my 10th month will be my lucky month and I hit a LD. :)

I think this is one of the most important aspects of lucid dreaming - and something that separates the dreamers from the rest. I know of people who have had LDs the first night they tried, and...

Very true. Just as my motivation begins to dwindle and i feel like i'm not getting nowhere, another lucid just occurs and reminds me that all the practice is worth it =]

Also, in my opinion, you might want to use some vizualization techniques, ADA and do some RC´s.
